Miniseries Plot
Harvard Professor Michael Sandel challenges participants with difficult moral dilemmas, asking: What’s the right thing to do? Participants are made to think about subjects including immigration, robotization, discrimination, income inequality and privacy. Will they stick to their convictions or do they possess the capability to reconsider them?

Immigration is a problematic topic on a global scale. Are wealthy countries morally bound to welcome refugees with open arms? To what extent does the place you were born determine your identity and your rights?

Can machines and robots take over the work of humans? And how can you program a self-driving car to react when dealing with traffic situations in which victims are inevitable?
3. Discrimination
Is discrimination always unjustified? To what extent can and must you treat people equally?

Is it justified that professional athletes earn exponentially more than elementary school teachers?

Virtually no other subject has gained more attention in recent years than privacy. What constitutes a violation of privacy? And what does privacy really mean?
