The Village Hall hosts its first Miss Health and Beauty contest, but after years of tranquil competitions to find a homely Queen of the May, is the Village ready for a Beauty Queen?
2. Pie in the Sky
It's competition time at The Village Hall, bakers compete for a range of prizes, including The Honourable Gerald Napier.
3. The Rough and the Smooth
A badminton tournament at the Village Hall becomes more competitive when the beautiful Helga turns up.
4. Lot 23
An auction is the scene for a love that's lasted many years.
5. Old Scores
Leonard Beamish decides to stand down from the Village Hall Community after disagreeing with the leader, when he does so, he finds he has a lot of support.
6. Silver Threads
The Village Hall hosts the annual Darby and Joan dinner, but all goes wrong when the entertainment fails to show.
7. Battleground
The Village Hall holds an Military gathering, but not all are happy in attendance.
