Season 1 Plot
This 22-episode series revolves around Veera, a talented martial artist trained by former boxing champion, Thennavan, who has to face his own brother as a rival in a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) championship. Whether Veera chooses to battle it out with a full heart to win the championship, or let his brother be crowned champion forms the crux of the story.
Veera Season 1 aired on December 19th, 2022.
Season 1 Episodes
1. Episode 1
Thennavan,a former boxer who works in a gym,attempts to commit suicide. Fortunately,his assistant saves him. The story flashbacks to why Thennavan is in this current situation.
2. Episode 2
Thennavan celebrates his victory. Enraged by this, Tony Lee and his goons attacks him, injuring him badly.
3. Episode 3
After witnessing Veera's fighting skills, Thennavan decides that Veera is the right man to destroy Tony Lee.
4. Episode 4
Thennavan fights of Maya and his henchmen,saving Veera and Latha. He advices Veera not to choose the wrong path and wants to prepare him for real MMA competition.
5. Episode 5
Thennavan is angry at Veera for street fighting behind his back. He kicks Veera out of his gym. Veera continues to train on his own,secretly.
6. Episode 6
After making amends, Thennavan starts training Veera for an upcoming MMA tournament. Veera's estranged Father and brother returns to the picture after living on the run for the past few years.
7. Episode 7
The episode flashbacks to Srinivasan,Veera's father,an ex-army man and how he starts to slowly get addicted to gambling,to the point he loans money from Mayan, a local loan shark.
8. Episode 8
An MMA tournament starts with many Asian fighters,with Veera as one of the participants. Bharath,Veera's estranged brother,tries to register,but is stopped by the Tournament Committee.
9. Episode 9
Srinivasan is happy to see his wife,Latha. Latha on the other hand is disgusted and refuses to accept him back.
10. Episode 10
Latha fights for her life in hospital.Veera,finds out that Srinivasan is his father,but refuses to let him see her at the hospital.
11. Episode 11
Lathat is in critical condition,Veera goes on with the tournament but is unable to focus on the match.
12. Episode 12
Detective Anbu meets Veera to ask him to participate for an upcoming underground Kumite fight as a spy . Illegal gambling takes place there,Veera agrees.
13. Episode 13
Tony Lee meets his right hand man Michael,to inform him that the Police are looking for him. Tony,Furious,plans his revenge on Veera.
14. Episode 14
Veera buys over the gym and hands it over to Thennavan. He refuses as Veera obtained the money form illegal fights.
15. Episode 15
The MMA semi-finals are underway,Veera re-enters again as a "Wild Card",courtesy of Detective Anbu.
16. Episode 16
Detective Anbu and his team locates a kidnapped Diya. Thennavan goes on his own in an attempt to rescue her as well.
17. Episode 17
The death of Thennavan shocks the boxing fraternity. Meanwhile, Journalist Nisha,shocks the MMA community by revealing that Veera and Bharath are brothers.
18. Episode 18
Tony Lee meets Srinivasan to settle the dispute between Veera and Himself. Michael is confident of winning the tournament with Tony's evil schemes.
19. Episode 19
Veera and Bharath reconnects,puts their differences aside and starts training together.
20. Episode 20
Veera confronts Srinivasan about his meeting and dealings with Tony Lee. Srinivasan commits suicide due to his ailing condition and mental instability.
21. Episode 21
Bharath blames Veera for their father's death. They are once again on bad terms due to this.
22. Episode 22
MMA Tournament Grand Finals, who will be crowned the Champion?
