When an old white woman moves into Pleasant Days, her Karen behavior throws everyone for a loop; Reginald fears an escaped convict he put in prison has plans to take revenge.

In a get-rich-quick scheme, Mr. Brown decides to become a Country & Western singer. Jeremy is hesitant to get his first prostate exam.
4. Friday Night
When Leah ices Jeremy out during a fight about her spending habits, Efe and Anastasia dole out relationship advice, and Mr. Brown gets a new lease on life with a full head of hair.
5. Cupid Don't Lie
When Phillip's teacher arrives to prepare him for an essay contest, Mr. Brown develops a crush on her, and Anastasia questions whether Efe's romantic feelings for her are sincere.

Jeremy is forced to stand up to his overbearing mother while Philip and Leah work hard to engineer the, "Damn, leave me alone prank" that's been going viral on the internet.

A friendly disagreement results in Anastasia hypnotizing Mr. Brown into thinking he's a kung fu master, and the residents of Pleasant Days are shocked by Efe's new, much younger girlfriend.

The family's values are tested when Phillip begins dating a wealthy and generous young lady, and Efe, scrambling to pay his back taxes, is lured into a questionable new business.
10. Finally, Father's Day
Jeremy and Mr. Brown feel underappreciated by Leah and Cora's lackluster efforts to celebrate Father's Day, and Jeremy struggles to accept that Leah makes more money than him.
11. Once Was Lost
When Reginald is put in charge of Cora's precious family heirloom bible and gives it away to charity, he's got to figure out how to replace ot before Cora discovers it missing.

Philip is spending a lot of 0me on the phone with his new girlfriend Chilecia so the family wants to meet her. She turns out to be a little too hood for the family.
13. Drop Out Like It's Hot
Sandra is stressed out at college and decides to drop out, but Jeremy and Leah have concerns; Anastasia gets the itch to rekindle her celebrity career.
14. Lights, Camera, Act Son
Mr. Brown and Efe team up to secretly film a reality show starring the oblivious Pleasant Days residents; Philip gets a part-time job at a fast food restaurant but begins to have second thoughts.
15. French Miss
Mr. Brown attempts to impress a woman he thinks could be the future Mrs. Brown; when Mr.Brown's five-star dinner reservations fall through at the last minute, he solicits Philip to help whip up something gourmet.
16. Golden Oldie
Mr. Brown's girlfriend causes a stir when Anastasia realizes they are competing in the same elderly pageant for the crown of Ms. Golden Oldie; Leah is appalled when Jeremy buys her a high-tech broom as an early birthday gift.

When Cora runs for president of the local church, mud-slinging and sabotage threaten her reputation and test her faith. The Pleasant Days squad bolsters their ability to protect themselves by taking a self-defense class.

Philip feels as though he is being treated like a child and resists his parents' punishment. Mr. Brown sends Kimberly an innocent text message that gets him into trouble.
