Season 1 Plot
Zete and Rika find the horseshoe in the first episode, and, with its help, the young boy and girl are able to see all the Szekler legends. But the Devil and his helpers, Totty and Dotty, also want the horseshoe so that they can destroy the legends. The children are determined to prevent this from happening and are aided in their efforts by Grandpa and Furry Elf.

Season 1 Episodes
1. The Magic Horseshoe
Grandpa teaches Zete and Rika the well-known symbols of the Transylvanian gates and their meaning. The kids learn about the resourceful, crafty, and unique people who still live here, surrounded by the extraordinary and awe-inspiring landscape. Grandpa tells Zete and Rika about the strange noises coming from Single Stone Mountain. According to the local legend, the Devil is tied to the mountain with a binding agreement. After listening to Grandpa's tale, the kids secretly set off to discover the cause of the mysterious roar. A glowing horseshoe falls from the mountain...
2. The Milky Way
Zete and Rika safely arrive home at their grandfather's house, excited to show him their fabulous find. Grandpa instantly knows that what they brought home has great importance not only to them but to the Devil too. If he grabs it, he will have a chance to get rid of the old binding spell and finish his plan to destroy all the legends from around the World. Grandpa tells them the Transylvanian myth about the creation of the Milky Way, locally known as the Starry Path. They learn the story of the Magic Horseshoe, and how it came into being in this part of the World. ...
3. The Fable Tree
We learn the history of Grandpa's Fable Tree, and we have a chance to get a glimpse of its inner wonders with magical instruments. We'll find out why the Fable Tree is in Grandpa's garden and its importance in the series. The Fable Tree will be the centre of the events, providing the gateway between the Present World and the Realm of Legends. It is a safe place from the Devil and much more because the Fable Tree's roots branch out to the locations of the stories. Our heroes can quickly arrive at different places to rescue the endangered legends.
4. The Ugly Gnomes
After many unsuccessful attempts and failures, to gain access to the Magic Horseshoe, the Devil realizes that he cannot carry out his plan alone. He learns from his magic book of spells that ugly gnomes live in caves in the Transylvanian Mountains. There, they are waiting to emerge and rule the world when the human race becomes extinct. With a half-successful spell, the Devil manages to create Totty and Dotty, two ugly gnomes, who also prove to not be too smart.
5. The Devil's Trench
The Devil and his helpers set a trap with a giant millstone created by the Devil's spell to catch Zete and Rika and take the Magic Horseshoe from them. We get to know a new local legend about a known landscape feature in Transylvania, attributed to the Devil: the Devil's Ditch and the Rooster's Groove. They are so engaged, setting up the trap that they do not see dawn reaching them. Before the rooster chants morning, just like Count Dracula. The Devil must escape the first ray of the sun.
6. The Secret of the Almasi Cave
Adventuring in the dark cave, Zete and Rika meet Sir Mano, who comes to help them defeat Totty and Dotty. The gnomes are about to fetch the magic key that keeps two evil fairies locked away. They control the winds of Nemere, with which they can wreak lots of havoc in Transylvania. With the help of the Magic Horseshoe and Sir Mano, the children save the key from the gnomes, but now they must place it safely in the Fable Tree.
7. Queen Reka's Stone
Totty and Dotty chase Zete, Rika and Sir Mano and plan to trap them down the river. With the help of Sir Mano, the Magic Horseshoe, and the Catfish King, Zete and Rika manage to escape the gnomes and arrive at Réka's Forest. Sir Mano shows them the stone of Queen Réka, which according to the legend, it marks the burial place of the wife of King Attila the Hun. Here, they are challenged again by the Devil's helpers, but they are saved by Gentle Giant Girl, who takes them back to the Fable Tree.
8. The Chronicle of Sir Mano
We dedicate this episode to King St. Ladislaus. It commemorates our legendary knight king, born in Poland and buried in a Transylvanian Cathedral. With this cartoon's help, we try to teach history accurately and draw the kid's attention towards reading, following the battles and the locations, supported by accurate maps. The cartoon was inspired by the murals of a famous church in Szeklerland, which commemorates the Battle of Kerles and the rescue of the bishop's daughter by the King.
9. The Magic Flute
We look back at the past when Grandpa was about as old as Zete. Firtos, the kind-hearted fairy, builds a castle near the village of Korond because she loves the area and the people who live here. During building work, she has gifted Grandpa with a magic flute. It is time to pass this incredible gift to Zete. With this, he can use the power of the fairies to untangle evil spells.
10. The Bells
Grandpa and Sir Mano's favourite game, since their childhood, is the Nine Men's Morris. Zete and Rika get to know the game's rules, and they also learn about Europe's history, retrospecting nearly 500 years during the game. The story is built around the bells, emphasizing their importance from The Siege of Belgrade, in 1456, until the First World War. Grandpa and Sir Mano teach the kids how and why people used bells throughout history during the game.
