Season 6 Episodes
1. Episode 1
A couple who have spent their lives saving stray animals bring in a three-legged cat called Jersey, who has recently become lame in her single back leg. The vet must decide whether the first-ever hip replacement on a three-legged cat is viable. Plus, a Great Dane is given a custom-designed spinal implant, and a Dogue de Bordeaux gets help with elbow dysplasia.
2. Episode 2
Professor Noel Fitzpatrick fears the worst when a young cockapoo is hit by a lawnmower, and he faces the challenge of saving as much of its leg as possible. Meanwhile, a seven-year-old labrador struggles with pain in its elbows, and a German Shepherd-Collie cross is suffering with a bulging disk in his spin and hip dysplasia.
3. Episode 3
Noel Fitzpatrick treats a Labrador that is both a guide for the blind and a seizure alert dog, and has become lame in both its front legs. Invasive surgery could mean that the dog's owner, Toni, is without her lifeline. Meanwhile, a couple hope that surgery will save their Rhodesian Ridgeback's leg from a cancerous tumour, and Fitzpatrick Referrals receptionist Natalie's Tibetan terrier becomes unwell.
4. Episode 4
Family members rush their chihuahua, Darcy, to the clinic after it is hit by a car. For 18-year-old TaJournée, who is autistic, the dog is a lifeline, and Noel must use pins, nuts and bolts to reconstruct the broken pieces of its crushed pelvis. Meanwhile, the vet finds himself in a tricky situation while performing replacement surgery on a seven-year-old spaniel with hip problems, and a Winchester Prison sniffer dog that is lame in both elbows is brought to the surgery.
5. Episode 5
A one-year-old St Bernard suffering with hip dysplasia is brought to the clinic by the Warden family. Having recently lost the the dog's brother to a similar illness, emotions are running high. Meanwhile, Noel treats a 13-year-old collie that has been hit by a car, and tries to devise a new bionic paw for a cat with a badly deformed hind foot.
6. Episode 6
A four-year-old chinchilla arrives for surgery on a broken leg, but his tiny airways and bones make it a difficult procedure. Meanwhile, a puppy is rushed to the veterinary practice after being hit by a van, and Noel must deal with the risk of infection as he fights to save its limb. Plus, a Labrador undergoes an awkward operation for two bulging discs.
7. Episode 7
A woman and her sons bring in their springer spaniel puppy, Molly for complicated surgery on its badly deformed hind leg. The owner of an eight-year-old cocker spaniel, Archie waits to hear if her dog's cancer has spread, and the vet treats a two-year-old cat, Lily which is dragging one of its back legs.
8. Episode 8
A woman who suffers from nocturnal epileptic fits brings in Pearl, a Staffordshire bull terrier that can sense when these episodes are about to happen. However, the dog has problems with its knees and struggles to walk, so the pressure is on for Noel Fitzpatrick to restore it back to full health. Plus, an Irish setter, Casey has a cancerous tumour in its front leg, and a cat, Black Beauty needs its jaw wiring back together after being hit by a car.
9. Episode 9
Noel tries to fix a cocker spaniel's leg problems by fitting two bionic back feet, before launching a series of investigations into what is causing a cat to drag its leg. Plus, a Westie puppy with a fractured knee arrives, but it cannot keep still.
10. Episode 10
Pioneering veterinarian Noel Fitzpatrick plans to use groundbreaking cell technology to repair damaged cartilage in a 10-month-old golden retriever that helps a five-year-old girl cope with epilepsy. A cat arrives at the surgery with a suspected rat bite that seems to be getting bigger, and a whippet is brought in after being hit by a car - sustaining multiple pelvic fractures.
