Season 2 Episodes
1. Ranching in the Mist
Ree plans the night before for a cowboys and cowgirls lunch at the lodge after a big morning working calves on the ranch. The next day, everyone's up at first light and when they head out to the range, Ree slams pop pulled pork in the oven to slow cook and fits in some photography for her blog. With time to spare Ree heads back to the lodge to finish making a well earned lunch for the entire crew of hungry cowboys, kids and family.
2. All Stocked Up
Ree hasn't been to the store in weeks and she's still got another day to go before she can hit town. Over the next 24 hours she dips into her trusty staples to whip up some fabulous food from what she can find in her pantry and freezer. There's mom daughter dinner, breakfast for the kids and lunch for the whole family.
3. The Big Game
Ladd's two best college friends Tony and Bill are heading out from the city to the ranch for the weekend to watch their alma mater play their archrival in the big Arizona vs. ASU game. While Ladd dishes out some city slickers type ranch experiences Ree cooks up a watch party feast of incredible game day goodies with snacks and treats that are sure to score a touchdown.
4. Little School House on the Prairie
School's in at the lodge where it's homeschool Co-Op day. The night before Ree gets ahead with strawberry oatmeal bars, then before the bell rings she's serving up make ahead muffin melts for the kids. Then up at the lodge they're joined by the other moms and kids where strawberry jam is the first period in a cool lesson mixing science and cooking, followed by a nature trail around the ranch while Ree makes lunch for the hungry kids- broccoli cheese soup on hollowed out bread bowls.
5. Chocolate Day
It's chocolate day at the lodge and Ree has challenged herself to shake up three great knock-it-out-of-the-park easy but impressive chocolate recipes for the blog. The kids can't wait to turn into taste testers – it's a cook's kid's best perk. Their dinner is an incredible corn and cheese chowder, and their mom's got a real surprise: dessert, then soup as a treat. Let the choc fest begin.
6. Camping at the Creek
Ladd's mom is taking all the kids and cousins for a fun night out camping under canvass at the creek. Ree's whipping up delicious food for them to cook over the campfire in the great outdoors. Meantime it's date night with a difference at the ranch house with supper for two for Ladd and Ree.
7. Potluck Sunday
It's potluck Sunday at the church and comfort food to the max. Ree is making three great dishes that are guaranteed to be wiped out first. Then it's all hands on deck at the church the next morning where the entire family turns out to help Ree get the food on the table, and eat it.
8. Ladd's Birthday
It's Ladd's birthday and while it's business as usual on the ranch Ree's conjuring up a fabulous birthday dinner for Ladd, the kids and Cowboy Josh with all Ladd's favorite foods.
9. Kidswap Sleepover
Ree's swapping kids for a sleepover with her best friend Hyacinth. The girls go to Hyacinth's and the boys come to Ree's where it's a boy friendly breakfast for dinner and after an early morning working with Ladd on the ranch there's dinner for breakfast.
10. Triple Act
Ree's mom and sister are staying on the ranch for the weekend and the women are conjuring up family recipes and food they love. There's a fabulous pasta dinner with seafood and a casual easy salad lunch the next day.
11. Rise and Shine
It's the tale of three breakfasts on the ranch. For breakfast on the run, Ree's making tender scones. To celebrate her father-in-law's birthday, there are Eggs Benedict and Breakfast Potatoes. Finally, the hearty Breakfast Burritos, perfect for hungry kids and cowboys out working on the ranch.
12. Family Matters
To welcome Ree's father and stepmom to the ranch for dinner, Ladd's grilling the steaks, while Ree whips up all the fixings: sauce, salads, sides and a family favorite for dessert. Then everyone's wrapping up warm to sip hot chocolate on the terrace by the glow of the fire pit.
13. Pw to Go
Ree's doubling up on dinner and making one meal for her crew and one for cowboy Josh. There's delicious meatloaf slathered in a spicy tomato topping, twice baked new potatoes filled with a fabulous cheesy stuffing and then a salad that really packs a punch. Then for dessert, Pecan Pie, good for the holidays, good anytime of the year. This is two portable feasts to go.
