1. Chicago
Tony cruises around the Windy City, has a damn-good hot dog, has a drink with painter and blogger Bruce Cameron Elliott, and dines with Top Chef champion Stephanie Izard.
2. Paris
In Paris, Tony does as the French do. He sips coffee at Le Pure Café, sits down at Le Dome for an enormous shellfish tower, discovers the lost art of bread baking and indulges in a guilty pleasure: a duck press.
3. Philadelphia
Tony goes beyond the cheesesteak in Philadelphia. He dines on modern Israeli food with Marc Vetri, throws back the citywide special at Dirty Frank's and learns the real story behind the drinking and carousing of our Founding Fathers.
4. Sao Paulo
In Sao Paulo, Anthony Bourdain stays in an eccentric boat-shaped hotel, dines with friends at Alex Atala's famous D.O.M. restaurant, checks out the street graffiti with celebrated artist Speto and has nose-to-tail food at Mocoto.
5. Toronto
Tony finds that there’s more to Toronto than what meets the eye. From nose-to-tail cuisine to authentic dim sum, Toronto has one of the most diverse food scenes in the world, and Tony attempts to see as much of it as he can in the little time he has.
6. Dublin
Anthony spends 36 hours in Dublin, Ireland, during which time he checks out the food scene and dines on sweetbreads, pork stew and lamb.
7. Atlanta
Anthony Bourdain heads to the “ATL” where he cruises around in a muscle car, shoots guns and experiences the famed 10 o'clock burger at Holeman & Finch. He wraps up his trip at the legendary adults-only Clermont Lounge.
8. Taipei
In Taipei, Anthony Bourdain visits the second-tallest building in the world. There he discovers pork carved out of jade, learns he can't have a plan in a bar scuffle and sees why scantily-clad women attend funerals.
9. New Orleans
In New Orleans, the town of excess, Tony indulges in fresh seafood, drinks Sazerac with Davis Rogan, hits The Kingpin and finishes off his bar crawl with tacos from one of the nation’s top 20 food trucks.
10. Seattle
Who doesn't love a layover in Seattle? Bourdain indulges in runny and smelly cheeses at Calf and Kid, checks out the aerial view of the city from a seaplane and gets a not-so-family-friendly tour of Seattle's historical underbelly.
