The once lovable Carl becomes a hard worker, but he is no longer any fun. Danny finally gives in to his children (and Margaret), and Carl becomes as lovable as ever.

Danny showers the children with money to give them a hint about getting a present for his birthday. But the children don't know,and spend it on the custodian of the building, who was once a sailor. They buy him a shirt. In the tag, the children perform a play due to Danny's love of the arts.
