Young Indy meets Princess Sophie of Austria, daughter of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and develops deep feelings for her. He even asks Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung and Alfred Adler for love advice. On their next stop in Florence, Anna Jones becomes the object of affection for the persuasive opera composer Giacomo Puccini. With her husband away in Rome, Anna is torn between her feelings for her husband and the impulsive Italian.

Russia/Greece - 1910. While attending a wedding in Russia, Young Indy runs away from his parents after a series of unfortunate accidents and encounters a Cossack.

India/China - 1910. January, 1910. The Jones family attends a meeting of the Theosophy movement in Benares, India. There young Indy befriends a young boy named Jiddu Krishnamurti who is presented by the society to be the next world teacher and possible messiah.

Princeton/Mexico - 1916. Young Indy finds that spies, submarines, and south-of-the-border revolutionaries don't necessarily mix.

Ireland/London - 1916. Indy travels to Ireland where he nearly gets mixed up in a revolution. He and Remi then travel to London where Indy falls in love before heading off to war.
8. Trenches of Hell
Germany - 1916. Trapped in a German P.O.W. camp, Indy makes the acquaintance of a young Frenchman named Charles de Gaulle as they plot their daring escape.

Verdun/Paris - 1916. Indy aids the war as a motorcycle courier for the French. He makes a daring decision to save men on the front lines. He then travels to Paris where he meets Mata Hari. The two begin a whirlwind romance, Indy soon questioning her actions.

East Africa - 1916. In the middle of war-torn Africa, Indy and a group of elderly commandos take on a fiendishly powerful weapon.

Congo - 1916. While serving in the Belgian army, Young Indy's life is changed when he meets doctor and humanitarian Albert Schweitzer, who shows him the true value of life.

Monaco/Italy - 1917. Not only does Indy compete against dashing young writer and adventurer Ernest Hemingway for the girl of his dreams, he then joins the French Foreign Legion to find that his troubles are just beginning.

Istanbul/Transylvania - 1918. Indiana Jones finds that the face of evil isn't always human on a terrifying trek from Istanbul to Transylvania.
18. Treasure of the Peacock's Eye
Egypt/South Pacific - 1919. The mysterious words of a dying man send Indy off on a wild hunt for the lost diamond of Alexander the Great.
19. Winds of Change
Paris/Princeton - 1919. Indy works as a translator in France for peace negotiations at the end of the war. He then finds love on his way home to reconcile with his father.
20. Mystery of the Blues
Chicago - 1920. Indy reminisces about his days in 1920's Chicago, and the night he crossed paths with cutthroat gangster Al Capone and jazz-great Sidney Bechet.

New York - 1920. Indy learns love isn't easy as he sees three girls simultaneously while working on the set of a Broadway production. Things come to a head as he tries to balance the production and keeping the girls from finding out about each other.

Hollywood - 1920. Young Indiana Jones faces off against his most ruthless foes yet, Hollywood studio execs, as he takes the reins of a runaway film.
