1. What determines the destiny is not a chance, but a choice.
A struggling young man heads to a hotel to run a shady errand -- and stumbles into a job interview with an eminent attorney forced to hire a protégé.
2. If you get a chance to cast the dice, just do it. Once you do it, you get at least one step forward.
Park Myeong-hwan files a lawsuit against Choi Gang-seok. Go Yeon-u is assigned a pro bono sexual harassment and wrongful termination case.
3. There is always a dark side behind the mask of truth. And that is why...
Yeon-u sets out to make things right on two fronts: the hostage situation he put Cheol-sun in, and the damage he caused to the sexual harassment case.

Yeon-u suspects Gang-seok is hiding something from his past and investigates, and later helps an accountant accused of forging his academic credentials.
8. Justice is giving back everyone what they rightfully deserve.
Gang-seok is torn between his loyalty toward his mentor and protecting himself. Yeon-u notices an oddity on Kang & Ham paystubs processed by Namyoung.
9. You can't go back in time and start over again, but you can still aim for a new ending starting from now.
Gang-seok defends a man he wrongfully imprisoned as a public prosecutor. Painful memories surface when Yeon-u is assigned to a hit-and-run case.

Gang-seok tries to prove his theory on who actually murdered Kim Min-ju. Yeon-u learns a detail that Park Jun-gyu failed to mention before.

Rumors of Ham Gi-taek's imminent return rattle Kang & Ham's staff. Yeon-u gets his first solo case: a young woman claiming her book idea was stolen.

Gang-seok tries to end a nurses strike at Haram Sanatorium, but when Gi-taek interferes, Yeon-u gets caught in the middle of their power struggle.

A lawsuit against a car manufacturer over a fatal accident reunites Gang-seok with David Kim. Yeon-u introduces Kim Ji-na to his grandmother.

When David Kim offers to settle out of court if Gang-seok is disbarred, Yeon-u gives Ha-yeon an idea to measure Gang-seok's chances of winning in court.

Kang & Ham's partners vote on whether to allow the case against Gang-seok to go to trial. But first, Yeon-u presents testimony he gathered from CEO Seo.
