Season 1 Episodes
1. The Woman Who Dressed America
Looking to expand their growing team, Jenna Lyons and her chief of staff Kyle DeFord set out to find the right team members for their new business venture. After first-round interviews, they’re joined by Jenna’s “chief de fashion” Sarah Clary as they challenge four potential associates to "reinvent a classic" – but later, only two can help Jenna redesign her first client’s timeless Brooklyn brownstone.
2. How High Low Can You Go?
Jenna and Kyle challenge a new batch of associates to elevate an affordable ensemble with one high-end item, using stylist Sarah as their model. Next, Jenna’s top two picks help her transform the raw loft space below her apartment into her company’s new headquarters with the same high/low approach.
3. Dinner Party Drama
Following another round of intense interviews, a third group of associates is tasked with designing a table setting for the company website’s upcoming LA dinner party/fashion shoot. Upon landing in LA, the pressure mounts as two associates work to execute a flawless, fabulous event at a stunning estate – all while attempting to meet Jenna’s exacting standards.
4. Meet Your Makers
After reconsidering all the potential associates, Jenna narrows the pool to seven finalists and challenges them to find unique, locally crafted fashion, home, and beauty products for her pop-up shop. Meanwhile, Jenna and Sarah create a stunning photo booth for the celeb-studded SAG Awards, and Jenna puts the finishing touches on her false eyelash beauty line.
5. Fashion Bus
Pulling from a tricked-out mobile closet, Jenna and her team hit the road with four associates to help two women solve fashion dilemmas. After using new clothes and simple tricks to execute incredible style makeovers, the associates head back to NYC, where Jenna must decide whom to send packing.
6. Open House and Broken Hearts
The associates join Jenna at her flood-damaged upstate house, which is in desperate need of a design overhaul before it can go on the market. In preparation for an open house, Jenna divides the associates into teams to transform two rooms combining vintage and modern pieces – but will they be able to work together to make both spaces feel like home?
7. Reinventing Date Night
Another team challenge sees the associates giving high-fashion transformations to three very different couples for a “dressed-up denim date night” at an exclusive Brooklyn event that Jenna plans to feature in her social portfolio. But the true test is how the associates handle the growing pressure and escalating personality conflicts as they head into their final challenge.
8. Dream Job
Amid coronavirus lockdown, Jenna asks the final associates to design, prep, and execute their own socially-distant pop-up experiences, combining all of the style techniques they’ve learned thus far. Meanwhile, Jenna, Kyle, and Sarah reimagine the business for a changed world – and decide which of the associates will officially join their tightknit team.
