1. To the Maxey
In the second-season opener, Wilma thinks she'll have to reveal her unattached status at a grand family bash in honor of her grandmother's birthday, but Maxey steps in and pretends to be her fiance, a prominent plastic surgeon. Meanwhile, Darice still can't shake off ardent suitor Zack, who's been hired to paint the office.
2. Maxey Loses His Spark
When Maxey & Wilma break off their relationship, it has a profound and unseen effect on Maxey. While having a romp with 5 sexy females, (every man's dream), Maxey realizes that his ""spark"" is gone, and he is unable to rise to the occassion. Later he realizes that his feelings for Wilma went deeper than he realized.
3. Rehearsal of Fortune
When Maxey's elderly neighbor dies, her estate goes to Maxey. But the dead woman's family, convinced he manipulated her, decides to sue, and Wilma agrees to be his lawyer and be a character witness.
4. Dog Gone
Maxey fights his first death penalty case, representing a dog that's in danger of being euthanized.
5. When a Man is a Woman
Greg falls for Maxey's beautiful new client, unaware she's really a transvestite.
6. Defending Claude
Maxey, Wilma and Greg gives a complete makeover to Maxey's newest client, a rough and tough ex-convict, hoping it will convince the judge that he deserves a second chance.
7. Don't Get Hooked on Me
Darice's sudden engagement prompts members of the law firm to reexamine their own love lives---or lack thereof. Maxey & Wilma decide to officially announce that they are dating. When Darice's finance dumps her & leaves her broken hearted, Greg tries to console her.
8. Bad Reception
Darice quits the firm in the aftermath of her fling with Greg.
9. A Bride for Alonzo
Alonzo meets and hastily marries a beautiful Latina he meets in Las Vegas, but soon thereafter he asks Maxey and Greg to help him get out of his predicament. Trouble is, the Sparks sons really like their new in-law.
10. Brotherly Love
Greg is thrilled when he hits it off with a new woman but when he finds out that Maxey had already been involved with her, he develops a bad case of apathy, which requires some brotherly intervention.
11. Roots III
LaMarr hires detective Floyd Pitts to track down his biological parents. Turns out the office assistant's father is a wealthy industrialist. But is the ""dad"" the real deal?
12. It's Good to Be Negative
Wilma suggests that she and Maxey undergo medical testing before consummating their relationship, a request that leads her beau to a find a renewed joie de vivre
13. Silent Night
Maya arranges for a generous cash gift for the office custodian— who spends it all on her.
14. Flirting with Disaster
Wilma and Maxey take off for an intimate vacation in Mexico, but their romantic plans are put on hold after a hurricance blows throw the town where they're staying, eventually sweeping the pair's patience away with it.
15. She's Having My Baby
Maxey is so relieved after a stranger saves his life that he promises to grant her any wish. But he's apprehensive when the woman asks him to father her child.
16. Cain and Abel Sparks
Maxey finds out that Greg is dating the wife of a convict and pays dearly for meddling. Greg understandably doesn't want his brother involved in his romantic life and refuses to divulge any information about her, which sends Maxey straight to a private detective. When the detective finds that Greg's girlfriend is the wife of a convict, Maxey confronts Greg with the news, who, in turn, gets furious with his brother for interfering. When the newly released convict comes looking for Greg, Maxey, feeling bad about what he's done, lets the convict think he's Greg and takes the bruising intended for his brother.
17. Til Your Well Runs Dry (1)
At a dinner that Maxey does his best to interrupt, an old law school professor of Wilma's, who is now practicing at a top dollar establishment, proposes that Wilma join his firm as a partner.
18. Blind Justice (2)
When Maxey and Wilma face off in court, he finally manages to convince her of his most true feelings and persuades her to come back to the firm and to him. (Part 2 of 2, and series finale)
