Season 6 Plot
Kody and the sister wives - Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn - are at a crossroads in their relationship. While the divorce from Kody was supposed to be just a document shuffle, it has become nothing like what the family thought it would be. So much has changed and the whole family struggles to figure out how to move forward. In addition to the shifting family structure, the Browns begin their journey to legally adopt Robyn's children from a previous marriage. Kody also takes his youngest daughters to the beach in an attempt to bond more with them, and Robyn announces her pregnancy to the family, kicking off the countdown to her due date.

In the season premiere, Kody and Meri's divorce takes the family into uncharted territory. Also: Kody, his wives and their kids answer viewer questions.

Kody prepares to marry Robyn now that he's legally divorced from Meri, but no one is sure of the protocol for inviting the other wives and their children.

4. Marriage Counseling Texas Style
An anniversary trip to Texas turns into couples therapy for Christine and Kody. Meanwhile, the process of adopting Robyn's children begins as the family meets with their lawyer.

This one's all about Christine! She reveals the things she never wanted to talk about at all and what she was really thinking during the most memorable moments of the past five years.
6. Just Trying to Stay Afloat
The Sister Wives race in a cardboard boat regatta at a pirate festival in Las Vegas.
7. More Girls Than Kody Can Handle?
In an attempt to move forward with their new life, the Brown's celebrate by burning the bag Kody used daily to go between each house. Meanwhile, Janelle hits a plateau with her weight loss and Kody and Meri make a decision on Robyn's surrogacy offer.
8. Robyn's Big Announcement
This is a big week! The adoption of Robyn’s kids is coming to a head as the Browns sign official paperwork with their lawyer. Only one thing stands in their way now... a judge.
9. A Judge Decides
Today is the day the Brown’s have been working towards this entire year. Finally, this is the court hearing where Kody will learn if he can adopt Robyn’s oldest kids. And Janelle’s oldest daughter, Madison, has a stunning announcement for the family.
10. Chaos in the Cul-de-Sac
The Browns set out to celebrate the judge’s decision to allow Kody to adopt Robyn’s first three kids. What starts as a simple party for family and friends turns into a huge event for 60 people.This is the famous "Brown chaos" at its worst...and best.
11. A Boy or a Girl?
The Browns go to Alaska with an entourage that includes Logan's new girlfriend. Meanwhile, Kody and Robyn reveal their baby's gender.
12. Meri Catfished
The Browns are in Alaska dog sledding and deep sea fishing. And in one of the most stunning and emotional twists ever on Sister Wives, Meri admits to her family that she's been involved with a man online, but this person is not who she thought he was.
