On the island of Rottnest in Australia lives the pocket-sized Quokka, a charismatic and nocturnal marsupial the size of a house cat. A huge number roam freely here, living side by side with humans.

The tropical forests of Australia are packed with life. From canopy to forest floor, insects cram into every space and must fight to survive - nothing in Australia’s forests is quite what it seems.

The freshwater wetlands and waterholes in the tropical far North of Australia are among the most diverse ecosystems, hosting an extraordinary array of birds, insects, fish and freshwater crocodiles.
