Maggie is gone after the shooting and Ricky is anxiously on the trail of her. The rest of the family and friends desperately try to make sense of the incident.

Maggie struggles on her own, while Virgil must make a difficult decision. Ebert's feelings of guilt bother him immensely and how will Lizzie deal with the news of Kelvin?

Maggie realizes being a fugitive is not pleasant. Lizzy plans a makeover and Virgil and Gadija make plans for the Slapsnoek. Ebert's head is playing games with him.

Aiden and Inge struggle to suppress their feelings for each other. Carol manipulates Father into allowing her to come stay with him and Lizzie, and this leads to constant awkward moments

Aiden confronts Ricky about his obsession with power, while Lizzie struggles to put her foot down. Aunt Marie has a trespasser on the farm.

Gadija tells Lizzie about her and Virgil. Aiden and Janine have an intimate moment, but she thinks Aiden is still in love with Inge. Johnny is shocked when a secret comes out...

Aiden tries to get the other guys from the patrol group away, while Father Benjamin receives a challenging task. Inge and Aiden receive support from an unexpected place.

Maggie manipulates Johnny into helping her, but hides her true plans. Nicola is still not convinced that Henk is Tielman's son and investigates. Ricky hits rock bottom.

Things go horribly wrong between Carol and Lizzie at Bishop Oostendorp's wife's funeral. Ebert and Charmaine move closer to each other. Sara finds out Johnny knows where Maggie is.

Sara wonders if she made the right decision. Lizzie becomes more depressed and Maggie is hopeful that she will get bail.

Ebert realizes he feels something for Charmaine. The court case against Maggie begins. Ricky promises the public prosecutor that he will be there in time to testify.

Things get ugly when Lizzie and Gadija confront Carol in church about her flirting with Father. Ebert and Charmaine's relationship takes a hit, and the court case continues…

There is a shocked silence in the court as Judge Pretorius delivers his verdict. After Arthur meets the family, he asks Sara an important question. Virgil gives Father good advice about his marriage.
