Season 1 Plot
The lavish, passionate story of a beautiful convict girl, Sara Dane who is transported from England to Australia for a crime she did not commit. She struggle for freedom and independence against almost impossible odds.

Season 1 Episodes
1. Episode 1
Sara is falsely convicted of theft, and thrown into the hold of a ship bound for a penal colony in Australia.
2. Episode 2
Sara Dane lands in Sydney, and Andrew MacArthur has fallen for her charms. Everyone is finding their feet in the penal colony, but with all the small town carrying on it isn't so easy for Sara.
3. Episode 3
Drunken convicts attack the Maclay farm, wounding Jeremy; enterprising Andrew opens a store and purchases a trading ship.
4. Episode 4
Jeremy professes his love to Sara, who has become an aggressive businesswoman.

The Irish convicts revolt.
7. Episode 7
Louis and Sara suffer domestic troubles; after Sebastian disappears in a flood.

Sara rejects her newborn baby girl; rum corps rebels overrun Australia.
