Tensions between Rurangi's farming and Maori communities culminate in a strange phenomenon that awakens the past.
2. Face Value
Anahera stands up to Aunty Beth on the marae, Caz returns to Auckland to seek out Ellie, and Jem experiences his first queer nightclub.
3. Plum Life
Jem is crushed to realise the town is gossiping about his sexuality. Caz tries to convince Anahera to let local queer kids host a Rainbow Youth Group in her op shop.
4. In Milk We Trust
Caz is forced to watch the documentary about his dead lover, Anahera and Ellie have a karaoke duel, and Jem wants to go back in the closet.
5. The Boat of Truth
Tensions in Rurangi grow. Anahera confesses her true feelings, Jem makes a painful decision, and Caz's pursuit of Andy's ghost takes him to a dangerous new low.
