Runaway Season 1

Photographer Mehmet decides to pass Turkey’s borders with a group of German journalists to document the other side of the border. Shortly after arriving at an Ezidi village, a Radical organization that dominates the border raids the village and takes everybody in except Mehmet. Mehmet who hid in the mountains is left all alone in the village. He needs to figure out how to return to Turkey.

Mehmet takes over the identity of a militant who died during the raid, Rahman, and makes his way to Turkey. Zeynep, İlker, and Noah find themselves in the hands of the radical group.

Mehmet pretends to be one of the militants of the group and is trying to earn their trust. In trying to save Noah, Mehmet suggests an idea to the group. Ebu Zalim takes action.

After everything that has happened Mehmet has lost hope. Zeynep walks a thin line between life and death. Mehmet tries to figure out where Zeynep is.

Mehmet becomes suspicious of Nevi and worries about his hidden identity being found out. Mehmet runs into the person from abroad who sent Rahman, the man whose identity he took when he first arrived.

İlker has miraculously survived, but he is losing his mind and not his old self. Mehmet tries to find money to save Zeynep from the slave market. Ebu Zalim finds out Zeynep is hiding something.

Mehmet and İlker find each other. Mehmet is thrilled to find out that he is alive, but İlker is not himself anymore. They make a plan to escape, but just when they were about to act, setbacks appear.

Mehmet has begun the works for his big plan. If everything goes according to plan he will escape back to Turkey. Zeynep is looking for a clue to find out where her sister is and figure out his next steps.
