Road to UFC: Japan is an American reality television series and Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts competition. It is the inaugural event "Road to UFC" event and the event featured eight Japanese featherweight fighters with former champion Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson as coaches. The show started on July 6, 2015 and the finale aired on September 27, 2015 at UFC Fight Night: Barnett vs. Nelson.

Japan Episodes
1. The Beginning
With the help of UFC Heavyweights Roy Nelson and Josh Barnett, eight athletes head to Las Vegas to compete for a spot in the finals at UFC Fight Night: Japan.
2. Team Picks
The coaches introduce themselves and the fighters enter a training session followed by the coin toss for team picks.
3. 1st Quarterfinal Bout
We take a closer look at the background of the competitors, and the coaches get their opportunity to train with their teams before the first quarterfinal bout of the season.
4. 2nd Quarterfinal Bout
Coaches Roy Nelson and Josh Barnett train their fighters before the 2nd quarterfinal bout takes place to see who advances to the semifinals and gets one step closer to UFC: Japan.
5. 3rd Quarterfinal Bout
Yashabo and Ando face off in the third quarterfinal bout.
6. 4th Quarterfinal Bout
We get to know about Takai and Nagakura before they face off in the 4th quarterfinal bout of the season.
7. Reality in the USA
Team Nelson heads to Red Rock an visit Roy Nelson's gym while team Barnett head to a Chinese theater and go for a run around Lake Hollywood and semifinal match ups are announced.
8. Friendship Beyond Country Lines
Coach Josh Barnett heads to Osaka to meet team family and friends while Coach Nelson travels various areas with Hirota and Wicky.
9. Tournament Semi Finals 1st Bout
The semi finalist come back to Vegas and compete for one final chance to compete in the UFC.
10. Tournament Semi Finals 2nd Bout
The fighters meet with their coaches and the 2nd bout of the semi finals take place with both fighters having one more chance at UFC glory.
