Restaurant: Impossible is celebrating its 50th episode with an in-depth look at what it takes to make "Restaurant: Impossible" possible. Over the course of 49 missions, millions of viewers have tuned in to Food Network to watch the drama unfold as Chef Robert Irvine combats the issues and the people who are stuck in failing restaurants. This episode will unveil never-before-seen footage, including some of Robert's and his team's favorite, funniest and most frustrating moments. In addition, Robert will revisit several of his toughest restaurants to get updates on how they are doing today.

Chef Robert goes to Joplin, Mo., a town devastated by the worst tornado in recent history, where he has $30,000 and 3 days to transform theBoys and Girls Club and create a thank-you dinner for 1,000 volunteers.

Robert is back at Perella's Restorante in Warren, RI, where the owner, Lou, is facing the biggest change of his 25-year restaurant career. Robert looks to the past for inspiration to help Lou and his restaurant thrive in the present.

Robert returns to North Chelmsford, MA, to help Rosie's Diner get back on its feet after the COVID-19 shutdown. The diner's counter service is out of commission, and without that revenue, the owners have plunged deep into debt.

Robert returns to Al's Seafood in Essex, MD, which is fighting to stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the crab season coming to a close and relying solely on takeout, the owner is just months away from losing his family legacy.

Robert heads back to the Southern Grille of Ellendale in Delaware, where the owner has made sweeping changes to his business due to COVID-19 but is still struggling financially. Robert has to do something he's never done before in order to help.
