A documentary filmmaker meets with YouTube sensation Jesse Ridgway, a.k.a. McJuggerNuggets, to discuss Jesse’s crazy real-life show “The Psycho Series,” but discovers that sometimes the strangest truths are fiction.

Jesse is a small town New Jersey native whose early videos and developing Youtube ideas quickly gained popularity and struck viral gold. These videos would eventually evolve into "The Psycho Series."

With his charisma and persistence, Jesse eventually convinces his family and friends to transform "The Psycho Series" from a basic dad versus son drama into an epic family Youtube saga.

As "The Psycho Series" begins to gain more popularity, tensions quickly arise amongst Jesse and his family.

The increasingly complex plots of "The Psycho Series" begin to threaten the relationships and lives of those closest to Jesse. However, his one million subscribers show him that his family is now larger than he could have ever imagined.

Jesse soon realizes that not even his home is off limits when "The Psycho Series" fans connections to the show grow. Meanwhile, a former regular turns sour and attempts to break the illusion behind the series that everyone has worked so hard to maintain.

Jesse, along with his family and friends face growing threats and online hate as the series gains more popularity, which puts Jesse's home and life in danger.

Jesse pushes his parents and relationships to an extreme for the sake of art and subscribers. However, popularity comes with a price and he just may have pushed things a little too far this time.

Jesse kills his father, loses his best friend, and flees the country, all in just one day. When "The Psycho Series" is revealed as fiction, the fans and Jesse react to the completion of the series.

Jesse and his family face the aftermath of "The Psycho Series." The struggle to adapt becomes apparent when they attempt to return to normal life. However, the series might have taken too much of a toll on them.

After all that’s real and all that isn’t, Jesse and his family decide The Psycho Series is finally finished… or is it?
