Volume 2 Plot
Pixar Short Films Collection, Volume 2 is a 2012 compilation of the Pixar animated short films following the 2007 Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 1. It features 12 shorts that were released from 2007 through 2012 and it includes some student films from Pixar's directors as bonus features.

Volume 2 Episodes
1. Your Friend the Rat
The short takes on the form of an educational film and stars rats Remy and Emile, the main protagonists of Ratatouille (2007), who argue for the reconciliation of humans and rats.
2. Presto
The short is about Presto, a magician who is trying to perform a show, but his rabbit, Alec, would not cooperate with him until he gets his carrot.
3. BURN-E
4. Partly Cloudy
All day long, cheerful clouds in the sky make cute and cuddly babies, such as human boys and girls, kittens, puppies, and other creatures, and give them to storks for delivery to the expectant parents. However, one lonely gray cloud named Gus has the task of creating animals that are cute but not so cuddly.
5. Dug's Special Mission
6. George and A.J.
Taking place during the events of Up (2009), it follows what nurses George and A.J. did after Carl Fredricksen left with his house tied to balloons.
7. Day & Night
Inside Day is a day scene with a sun in the center, and inside Night is a night scene with a moon in the center. Whatever goes on inside of Day or Night expresses normal events that typically occur within a day or night, respectively, and these events often correspond with actions or emotions that Day or Night express or receive.
8. Hawaiian Vacation
The first entry in the Toy Story Toons series, the short features characters from the Toy Story films and takes place after the events of Toy Story 3 (2010).

The short involves Buzz getting trapped at a fast food restaurant, where there is a support group for discarded kids' meal toys from over the years, with a kids' meal toy version of Buzz taking his place.
11. Time Travel Mater
12. La Luna
The short is loosely based on Italo Calvino's short story "The Distance of the Moon."
