Payitaht: Abdülhamid Season 2

The Ottoman Army greeted the Greeks on the battlefield, and the glory of victory enveloped the palace. But Hatice Sultan and Naime Sultan are in concern. Kemalettin Paşa is not among the returning soldiers. Sultan Abdülhamid, the Greek ambassador and a British envoy try to settle the war.

Mahmut Paşa learns of the oil plans and tries to use Sabahattin to become a major player. Naime Sultan prepares her wedding with Kemalettin Paşa but Kemalettin Paşa is not convinced of the marriage. Parvus lays out his plan to erase all Ottoman influence.

Ahsen feels that her presence in the palace might lead to unrest and decides to leave. Firuze hatches a plan to prolong her stay in the palace but Bidar Sultan is starting to get suspicious. Mahmut Paşa tries to reestablish his position.

With Selim Paşa's life more at danger with his new duty, Murat Effendi, with the help of Osman Söğütlü, tries to protect him while tracking down the foreign agents in the capital. With Mehmet Paşa reaching out to his sister, Bidar Sultan is put in an awkward position. Kemalettin Paşa reaches a point of no return...

In the capital, the new Ottoman engineers are arriving and with them the plans to exploit the oil fields. However, Sultan Abdülhamid's past comes to haunt him in the form of a new debt... In the palace, Firuze is on the verge of being exposed for her real identity, but she stumbles onto something she wasn't supposed to see...

Kemalettin Paşa makes his choice but once again is pulled right back in. Sultan Abdülhamid struggles with the newly accumulated debt but he plans to pay it nonetheless. Murat Effendi is tasked to retrieve the sword of Uthman Ibn Affan.

The poison is starting to affect the Sultan Abdülhamid, but the American threat is looming... Inside the palace, it is becoming harder for Hatice Sultan and Kemalettin Paşa to hide their secret.

As Sultan Abdülhamid's situation is worsening, the vultures are circling the palace to take his throne. Bidar Sultan is closing in on Firuze as her identity is about to be revealed, but by whom?

With Mahmud Paşa back in Sultan Abdülhamid's grace, Parvus explores other options. The loss of Yusuf is not only felt by his friends, but also by some of the orphans of the city. Kemalettin Paşa tries everything to be together with Hatice Sultan.

Parvus tries to topple Sultan Abdülhamid's position by spreading disease in the city, but his influence runs deeper than Parvus expected... Relentless in his schemes, Parvus tries to ignite a religious conflict in Bulgaria.

With Parvus' real identity exposed, the Western powers scramble to free him. In an attempt to be together forever with Kemalettin Paşa, Hatice Sultan tries to take both their lives.

Firuze still wanders the streets of the capital as she's hopeful to meet Şehzade Abdülkadir. The situation of Hatice Sultan is becoming untenable as her secret is revealed. The English are hatching a plan to try Tahsin Paşa for war crimes, but the trial is just a front for another one of Parvus' plans...

Finally, Theodore Herzl makes his appearance in front of Sultan Abdülhamid. At the palace, Sultan Murad is hosted while attending Hatice Sultan's wedding. The palace is preparing for the arrival of Emperor Wilhelm, but Parvus has other plans...

Emperor Wilhelm has accepted the invitation of Sultan Abdülhamid, much to the dismay of the Western powers. Firuze is becoming more and more entangled with Şehzade Abdülkadir, to the dismay of Bidar Sultan. Another traitor in midst of the palace is working against Sultan Abdülhamid, old habits die hard?
