Season 1 Plot
The first season of Paris Hilton's My New BFF, also known simply as My New BFF and Paris Hilton's American Best Friend Forever internationally, premiered in the United States on September 30, 2008 and is the first incarnation of the My New BFF franchise. 16 women and 2 men competed in challenges in an attempt to become her new best friend. Though Hilton was forbidden from revealing the winner before the show had fully aired, she had on two separate occasions accidentally referred to the winner as a "she," first on the September 25, 2008 airing of the Late Show with David Letterman, and again on the October 7, 2008 airing of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, thus inadvertently narrowing down the contestants. On December 2, 2008, it was revealed in the finale that Brittany Flickinger became Paris' BFF.

Paris invites 16 ladies and two men to Los Angeles to compete for the role as her best friend

The contestants must try to look hot while on a roller coaster

When contestants pair up for a commercial shoot, true colors are revealed.
5. You Gotta Have Class
The remaining eight ladies have a celebratory pool party; the contestants participate in a game of '7 Minutes in Heaven
6. Vegas, Baby!
Paris takes the remaining BFFs to party in Las Vegas
7. My Kind Of People
After eliminating Kiki, Paris gives the remaining BFF's one last Vegas challenge. The girls must use their last night in Vegas to find guy who are willing to come back and party at the BFF mansion. Paris tells the girls that their guys will be judged on a hotness scale of 1-10. She also warns them that not bringing a guy back, or even worse, bringing an ugly guy back, will have serious consequences

Ryan Seacrest visits; tensions run high during a surprise double elimination

Each finalist spends a day alone with Paris in New York City
