Violet Adams is a third-generation law enforcement officer with the Pembina Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the 100th Precinct in Kensington. Her father, Kevin, was a deputy sheriff who was shot and killed in the line of duty. Her grandfather Dennis was the older Sheriff of the City of Pembina. Violet deals with emotional baggage, because of her family’s law enforcement legacy, and her father’s line of duty shooting.
