It's lambing season and the seven hopeful tenants get to work preparing a maternity shed for 60 pregnant ewes, and get to grips with the farm's rich diversity of pasture, woodland and blanket bog

The hopefuls prepare for the release of beavers and the arrival of pigs onto the estate, while one pair of wannabe-tenants prove their worth in the first farmhouse stay.
3. Episode 3
The wannabe-tenants demonstrate their heads for business at Hexham Farmers' Market, but as lambing starts on the farm, tensions mount. Who will Giles and Sally be sending home?
4. Episode 4
The remaining hopefuls host a farm visit for school children and look after the ewes around the clock in lambing season. Who'll be top of the class?
5. Episode 5
The remaining hopefuls head to a local livestock auction to test how they would fit into the rural community. And who will Giles and Sally pick to present their business plan?
6. Episode 6
The remaining hopefuls build a rotational grazing system and have their livestock handling skills tested in a cattle health check. Who'll make it to the final three?
7. Episode 7
The three hopefuls meet the other farm tenants to see what life's like on the estate, help the ranger team with an old footpath, and receive some tough love from Giles and Sally.
8. Episode 8
The finalists have one last chance to prove themselves, as they keep the animals fed and watered, and pitch their vision for the final time. Who'll get the keys to their dream farm?
