1. Mister Rogers Talks About FRIENDS

Mister Rogers arrives with a large display board showing pictures of several of his Neighborhood friends. After talking briefly about friendship, he shows the picture in the center which is of Buzz Wagner, a shoe salesman. Paying a visit to Mr. Wagner's shoe store, Mister Rogers wants to buy a new pair of shoes. After Mister Rogers spends a few minutes looking at all of the different kinds of shoes on display, Mr. Wagner approaches him to offer his assistance. Sizing up Mister Rogers' feet, Mr. Wagner is not able to find the proper size in the style of shoe Mister Rogers wants. Following Mr. Wagner to the store room, Mister Rogers is able to find a different pair which fits much better. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about disappointment and how a person may not always get what they want.

Mister Rogers arrives with a piece of string which he takes to the front porch along with a pan full of soapy water. By tying the string into a loop, he is able to bring it out of the water and use it to make bubbles. As Mister Rogers is making bubbles, Mr. McFeely arrives and invites Mister Rogers to join him on a visit to Betty Aberlin's house. At Betty Aberlin's house, she, along with Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely, watches as Mary Jo Barron sings songs with a small group of children. While everyone else enjoys a snack, Mister Rogers and Ms. Barron spend some time talking with each other about working with children.

3. Mister Rogers Talks About FRIENDS

November 17th, 1982

Mister Rogers opens with a visit to the Neighborhood resturaunt where Audrey Roth happily shows him to his seat. After talking about table settings and other common things found at a resturaunt, Mister Rogers orders a sandwich with cheese, lettuce, and tomato on whole wheat. He gladly accepts an offer to visit the resturaunt's kitchen and watch as the chef prepares his sandwich. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, preparations for the royal picnic continue as new instructions from King Friday are being delivered. Working together, Lady Aberlin and Henrietta Pussycat find an opening in the wall between Corney's factory and the Museum Go-Round. Through the passage, they find a garden with a fruit tree at its center. As they pick the fruit, X the Owl arrives with instructions to make a fruit salad.

November 18th, 1982

Mister Rogers arrives with a fife which he has borrowed from Joe Negri. Expressing how difficult it is to play the fife, Mister Rogers takes viewers to the kitchen where he has a row of bottles set up. Using these bottles, filled with various amounts of water, Mister Rogers is able to play Tree Tree Tree. Joe Negri stops by to pick up his fife and invites Mister Roges to join him on a visit to Betty Aberlin's Little Theater. At the theater, a group of musicians demonstrates the fife and plays it along with their drums.

Robert Trow gives a demonstration of pulleys at his workshop. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe tells a separate story with a rainy outcome.

6. Mister Rogers Talks About GAMES

February 7th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with a towel which he uses to play peek-a-boo before a quick game of hide-and-seek with viewers. After talking about a time when he was young and playing hide-and-seek, Mister Rogers sings Please Don't Think It's Funny. Returning to the towel he brought with him, Mister Rogers shows a film about how people make towels.

7. Mister Rogers Talks About GAMES

February 8th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with two pieces of wood which were given to him by Bob Trow. Using his imagination, Mister Rogers thinks of many things that the pieces could be used for before he sings You're Growing. Mr. Trow stops by with what appears to be a regular chair but Mister Rogers quickly realizes that when combined with the two pieces of wood, it becomes a rocking chair.

February 9th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with a device which plugs into an electrical outlet and turns things on with the clap of the hands. Demonstrating the device with a lamp, Mister Rogers sings You've Got To Do It. Mr. McFeely stops by with a small remote-controlled robot and invites Mister Rogers to join him on a visit to where people make robots. At the robot factory, Tom Zaken provides a detailed demonstration of how some of his robots work. He then takes Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely to the assembly area to see how the robots are put together.

February 10th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with a small cooler containing an ice cream bar shaped like a gorilla. Taking a bite, he explains that foods that are shaped like animals and people are very different from real animals and people. This leads into a shortened version of Everybody's Fancy. At Brockett's Bakery, Mister Rogers sees some cakes shaped like some of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe characters. Chef Brockett introduces Mister Rogers to Brandon, a young friend who shows Mister Rogers a Donkey Kong game which is temporarily at the bakery to promote the cake sale. As they play the game, Keith David arrives to remove the quarters from the inside of the machine. In doing so, he is also able to show Mister Rogers and Brandon the electronic panel that makes the game work.

February 11th, 1983

Rogers shows a new board game some friends based on the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Ella Jenkins shares some childhood stories and songs. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the children collectively figure out a way to stop the snowfall and permit the Make-Believe Olympic Games to begin.

April 25th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with the materials needed to make a latch-hook rug which he has borrowed from Chef Brockett. He demonstrates the latch hook before returning the supplies. At Brockett's Bakery, Chef Brockett has a display of various kinds of rugs which he and Mister Rogers look at in detail. Mr. McFeely stops by the bakery to pick up a delivery which needs to be taken to a local daycare provider.

13. Mister Rogers Talks About DAY CARE & NIGHT CARE

April 26th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with a duffel bag and demonstrates the bag's zipper. Inside the bag, he has a pair of boots and another smaller bag with zippers. Mister Rogers mentions that zippers were originally called "clasp lockers" before he shows a film about how people make zippers. Following the film, Mister Rogers talks about asking questions when you're curious. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Trolley delivers the mail which includes a lesson on Native American culture for X the Owl from the Owl Correspondence School.

14. Mister Rogers Talks About DAY CARE & NIGHT CARE

April 27th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with two orange balloons and sings Did You Know before Mr. McFeely stops by with a film about how people make balloons. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Neighbor Aber and Prince Tuesday visit Lady Elaine's special exhibit filled with balloons and dancers. Prince Tuesday is happy until Lady Elaine mentions the possibility of King Friday and Queen Sara not coming back from their trip. Handyman Negri is cleaning outside the castle and talks with Prince Tuesday about his worries. At Neighbor Aber's suggestion, they call King Friday and Queen Sara on the phone to make the Prince feel better.

April 28th, 198330 min

Mister Rogers talks about wearing reading glasses and demonstrates a pair of glasses with "little telescopes" on them. He then shows some pictures of fish before singing Everybody's Fancy. Sallie Boggs stops by to show Mister Rogers how to take better care of his fish. Together they look at the various kinds of fish in Mister Rogers' tank. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, it's twilight and Lady Aberlin and Daniel Striped Tiger have a very peaceful conversation before they sing the Creation Duet. On her way to the castle, Lady Aberlin stops to talk with X the Owl who is very excited by his lessons on Native Americans and nature.

16. Mister Rogers Talks About DAY CARE & NIGHT CARE

April 29th, 1983

Mister Rogers arrives with a package of graham crackers and takes viewers along as he visits a factory where graham crackers are made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Neighbor Aber and Lady Aberlin are decorating the castle to celebrate the return of King Friday and Queen Sara. Meanwhile, at the school, the children talk about times when they are sad or angry. Prince Tuesday shares about his bad dream. King Friday and Queen Sara are welcomed home from their trip and are informed of Prince Tuesday's dream by Neighbor Aber. Prince Tuesday comes home from school and shares his feelings with his parents.
