Season 2 Plot
The second season of the television comedy series Mike & Molly began airing on September 26, 2011 on CBS in the United States. The season is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with series creator Mark Roberts serving as executive producer along with Chuck Lorre, James Burrows and Don Foster. The series focuses on the title characters Mike Biggs and Molly Flynn, a couple who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting in Chicago, Illinois. After Molly, a primary-school teacher, invites police officer Mike to give a talk to her class, they begin dating. Molly lives at home with her mother Joyce, and sister Victoria. Joyce is in an on-off relationship with widower Vince Moranto, who is often seen at the house. Mike lives alone in an apartment but is regularly kept company by his best friend and partner in the police force Carl McMillan. Other prominent characters in the series include Carl's grandmother Rosetta; Mike's mother Peggy and cafe worker Samuel. Holly Robinson Peete has a recurring guest role in Season 2 as Carl's love interest. Season two of Mike & Molly broadcasts on Mondays in the United States at 9:30 P.M.

Following their engagement, Molly is anxious to start planning the wedding while Mike wants to go fishing with his friends.

Peggy gets a big surprise when she celebrates her boyfriend's birthday.

Mike tries to adjust after he gives up his bachelor pad and moves in with Molly and her family.
4. '57 Chevy Bel Air
Molly wants to save money for their wedding, but Mike is lured into buying Vince’s 1957 Chevy Bel Air.
5. Victoria Runs Away
Despite Mike's good intentions, he adds fuel to the fire when Molly and her family get in a fight.
6. Happy Halloween
Mike is spooked when Molly's boss invites them to a party on Halloween, a holiday he dreads.
7. Carl Meets a Lady
Carl tries to get a date with an attractive woman (guest star Holly Robinson Peete) he meets at the diner.
8. Peggy Gets A Job
When Mike encourages his mom, Peggy, to get a job, he never imagines how it will interfere with Molly's life.
9. Mike Cheats
Mike starts cheating on his diet as Thanksgiving Day approaches, but attempts to hide it from Molly.
10. Molly Needs a Number
When Molly is swamped with Thanksgiving preparations and wedding planning, she asks Mike to help, with mixed results.
11. Christmas Break
After getting disappointing news at work, Molly goes into a bad state which threatens to ruin Christmas.
12. Carl Has Issues
Carl faces his fear of commitment when his relationship with Christina takes a serious turn.
13. Victoria Can't Drive
Molly and Joyce ask Mike for help when Victoria is arrested for a number of driving violations.
14. Joyce's Choices
When Joyce accepts an ex-boyfriend's dinner invitation, Vince goes crazy with jealousy.
15. Valentine's Piggyback
After forgetting to prepare for Valentine's Day, Mike takes advantage of Carl's elaborate plans with Christina (Holly Robinson Peete).
16. Surprise
Molly decides to throw Mike a birthday party to make up for the fact that he hasn't had one since he was 9-years-old; Samuel dates a girl he met online.
17. Mike Likes Lasagna
When Molly suggests that she and Mike write their own wedding vows, he finds it hard to swallow, until Carl provides him with some food for thought and tells him to just pretend he's describing his favorite meal - lasagna.
18. Peggy Goes to Branson
Peggy goes on vacation and leaves Mike and Molly in charge of her dog, claiming that it's good practice for when they have children.
19. Molly Can't Lie
When Mike and Molly meet with the priest at Peggy's church, Molly's forthright nature winds up costing them their wedding chapel.
20. The Dress
Molly's dieting goes into overdrive when her wedding dress doesn't zip during her final fitting.
21. Bachelor/Bachelorette
Mike's dad comes to town early to attend Mike's bachelor party, which prompts Peggy to attend Molly's bachelorette event.
22. The Rehearsal
Two days before their wedding, Mike and Molly arrange their wedding rehearsal which turns into a disaster.

Mike and Molly have to deal with several problems as they make their way to the altar.
