Juliet Mills stars as a nurse who defends an elderly patient's right to die with dignity. The terminally ill woman is being pressured into an operation that will either restore her health or leave her a helpless invalid.

A young resident is horrified by an obstetrician who pressures his low income patients into having sterilization operations.

Three Female interns face a variety of problems in a busy hospital: the agonizing death of a young leukemia patient; the prejudices of a brilliant, but chauvinisic surgeon; and the violent tantrums of an emotionally unstable child.
