Season 7 Plot
BACK TO WIN, the CTV hit returns for a seventh season, this time offering the best former competitors from previous seasons a white apron and unprecedented second chance at the life-changing title, $100,000 cash prize, and a “Chef’s Culinary Package” of kitchen appliances courtesy of long-running series partner Miele. Distinguished judges Michael Bonacini (O&B restaurant empire), Alvin Leung (Bo Innovation in Hong Kong), and Claudio Aprile (Xango in Toronto) return to advise, mentor, and critique the cooks as they compete in a series of high-stakes culinary challenges. This time, their expectations are higher than ever as they put these experienced cooks are put to the test with the toughest challenges seen in the MASTERCHEF CANADA Kitchen.

1. The Dish That Haunts You
Twelve of the best former competitors from previous seasons are back to win for a second chance at the life changing title.
2. Japanese Showdown
The remaining competitors take on the artful cuisine of Japan throughout three grueling rounds of challenges.
3. MCC4U
The remaining competitors face their first Team Challenge as they prepare takeout orders for at-home diners.

The competitors face a Pressure Test with more than one surprise twist, and a special guest
5. Plant Based Paradise
The competitors face a Mystery Box challenge to bring a modern, plant-based twist to classic comfort dishes.
6. Kitchenary!
The top cooks compete in a new culinary-themed game show, 'Kitchenary,' then face an Elimination Challenge based on their answers.
7. Food of the Future
The remaining competitors receive a Mystery Box challenge based on the foods of the future with a special surprise twist.
8. Seafood Extravaganza
The remaining competitors partner up for a classic tag-team challenge, filled with complex seafood dishes.
9. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?
The top competitors are tasked with preparing food for a high-end dinner party for eight culinary insiders
10. The Sweet Taste of Success
This week the judges ask the competitors to pursue the sweet smell of victory with legendary desserts.
11. Ordinary to Extraordinary
The remaining competitors face a three-round skills test, and one final cook to determine who will earn a spot in the finale.
12. Back to Win Finale
The finalists vie for the title of season 7's MasterChef Canada and the biggest prize ever awarded to the winner.
