Maharaja Lawak Mega 2016 is back featuring 15 groups of comedians, known as "Agents" who will lead the Malaysian comedy stage to claim the title of the new Maharaja Lawak Mega champion. Dato' AC Mizal who is the emcee of Maharaja Lawak Mega still bears the responsibility as host for this season. Astro's much-loved serial reality show started airing on Astro Warna (Channel 132) and Astro Mustika HD (Channel 134) from 29 January 2016 - 29 April 2016, every Friday at 10pm.
