Ad-agency superstar Michael Davis is told by his wife Rachel that he's out of touch with her and their kids and that she's has been in touch with a lawyer. That news prompts him to find more ""family time"" to cook breakfast and join them for dinner. And then he learns how much he doesn't know about what's going on with his kids and wife.

Michael's trys to help Rachel only revealing his ineptitude, which lead to an allergic reaction in Joshua and a detention for sara.

When Will turns to Rachel for advice on car buying car.It doesn't sit well with Michael, who also dislikes Will's choice of vehicle.

Michael gets a crash course on life in small town Katonah when he takes timid Josh under his wing after the kid fails to sell even one packet of seeds for a school fundraiser. But he gets more than he bargained for when he meets up with mysterious neighbor Arthur the one man that Michael can't make a sale to.
