Kirstie and Phil try to find homes in for single-mum Jo Beck and adrenaline junkies Liz and John Fairfield. Single mum Jo Beck faces the emotional choices that many single parents have to deal with when looking to relocate with their kids. Her children are settled in Nottingham but she has her own dreams of moving to Derby. Jo has called in property guru Phil for advice and reassurance. In Derby, Kirstie meets adrenaline junkies Liz and John Fairfield, who want a home that's big enough to house all their outdoor sporting equipment, with a huge garden and absolutely no road noise.

This time Kirstie and Phil are in Hertfordshire, prime commuter territory where property doesn't come cheap, trying to find two homes for two young couples. Newly-engaged accountants Liz and Neil are looking for a home where they can start a family close to the market town of Tring. Twenty miles east, in St Albans, Phil is helping married couple David and Claire, who have moved five times in five years and are desperate to get off the rental merry-go-round.

After nine years of saving, Ashlee wants a period flat near the bars and restaurants of Brighton or Hove. After eight years of living apart architectural historian Colin Amery and his partner Robin Balance, a property renovation manager, are looking to find their first home together. They want a place they can renovate from scratch, and for them it's less about Location, Location, Location, and more about Architecture, Architecture, Architecture.

But having already viewed a whopping 90 properties she's got one of the worst cases of househunter's fatigue Kirstie has ever seen. Phil's with first time buyers Mike and Rosemary, who have spent the last six years abroad and want to settle down. But will their property aspirations prove too big for their budget?

Sonia and Daniel Alderson-Smith need to be settled in their dream family home before eldest daughter Eva starts school. They have an impressive budget of £930,000 and want to live in one of Surrey's most expensive and exclusive suburbs, East Molesey. Within this already tiny search area there are only 18 specific streets where they'll consider living. High flying couple Maeve and Peter Dunne are looking for a total lifestyle overhaul. They've got their heart set on Surrey, but have no idea where in the county they want to buy. It's up to Phil to focus the search and steer them through.

Kirstie and Phil catch up with young couple Wendy and Simon, who were desperate to find their first home in Derby, and their oldest ever house hunters Margot and Henry, in Berkshire. After nearly 50 years in the same home, Margot and Henry were looking for something trendy and modern. But did Henry really want to move home?

Amy and Takie were desperate to get off the rental merry-go-round and buy their first home in London, but ultimately had to put their dream on hold until they could save enough to make buying really worthwhile. In Wiltshire, Vicky and Andy were trying to combine their search for a home and two businesses on a budget of £400,000. Two years on, have the ambitious pair finally cracked it and found a home they could both be happy in?

Phil and Kirstie catch up with cautious first time buyers Sundeep and Rupreet in Harrow and postcode picky Hilary and Rob in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

In London it's double trouble for Kirstie as she helps 6ft 7 twins Matt and Chris Wickham, who are clubbing together to buy their first home. Their £350,000 is a healthy first-time buyer budget, but Kirstie faces a challenge as their favourite areas are central spots north of the river like Pimlico and Victoria. Phil helps Sam Taylor and his fiancée Krystle Maher, who are desperate to move out of their small rented flat in Deptford and into a home of their own before they get married.

Kirstie and Phil take on Yorkshire as they scour the beautiful spa towns of Harrogate and Ilkley, and the northern neighbourhoods of Leeds. Twenty-seven-year-old Mike Richie and his girlfriend Katy Roberts have recently returned home after 10 months globetrotting and want to put down roots in Leeds. Meanwhile, Ann-Marie McCullough and partner Lee Connolly want to leaves Leeds and are looking for a period home with three bedrooms in some of Yorkshire's most sought after spots.
