1. Vietnam
Lee is celebrating the Vietnamese New Year as thousands of people line the streets to enjoy song, dance and street style food. Lee soon finds herself cooking up a feast for some hungry locals.
2. Egypt
Travelling back in time, Lee begins her tour like most tourists do – at the Pyramids of Giza. With so much history dating back thousands of years, it’s not long before Lee cooks some of the oldest dishes in the world.
3. France
The gastronomic capital of France, Lyon, is Lee’s first stop. This stunning town offers cooking classes for those wanting to learn the techniques of French cooking.
4. South Korea
South Korean food has its own identity with particular focus on fermenting vegetables. Lee learns the art and benefits of preservation before heading to downtown Seoul for the breathtaking sights of the annual Seoul Lantern Festival.
5. Germany
Lee tours Germany along its famous Moselle and Rhine rivers, sampling everything the stunning countryside has to offer. Lee chooses a slow cook dish made from German staples as she works on her pronunciation!
6. China
From the Great Wall to the Forbidden City, Lee tours China like never before. The streets of Beijing serve up a mix of modern architecture and ancient traditions, but nothing is more popular in Chinese cuisine than dumplings!
7. Canada
Lee is rail hopping, road tripping and tasting her way through Canada’s famous Rocky Mountains. Ending up in Vancouver, Lee celebrates Canada Day by cooking three of their national dishes.
8. India
The land of spices welcomes Lee with open arms. With so much colour and spice at the centre of Indian culture, Lee decides to adopt some Indian fashion tips and dress up for the occasion
9. Malaysia
Lee heads straight to the capital city Kuala Lumpur. First stop is the famous Pertonas Towers before heading down to street level to sample the weird and wonderful food on offer.
10. USA
Lee’s journey begins and ends in the city of San Francisco. With all roads leading to iconic sights and destinations, Lee is eventually drawn down to America’s South – for some soul food inspiration!
11. Australia
Lee finally gets to show off her home country – Australia! The tour begins in Sydney as Lee visits the famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
12. Singapore
Singapore is a melting pot of Chinese, Malaysian, Indian and British culture. One way to sample Singaporean culture is through its cuisine.
13. Cambodia
Lee travels to the Kingdom of Cambodia where she discovers the ancient city of Angkor Wat. Lee also has the honour of cooking lunch for Buddhist Monks inside a Monastery.
