Season 2 Plot
A series that retells shocking crimes, from execution murders by complete strangers to crimes of passion by jealous lovers, examining all aspects of the case from the discovery of the body through each twist and turn of the investigation until the perpetrator is finally brought to justice. Viewers hear not only from the detectives who cracked the cases and the bereaved families who lost a loved one but also from local people who reveal how the murder has changed their tight knit communities forever.

A moving look at the murder of Natalie Jarvis, the 24-year-old who was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in the village of Swanley, Kent, in October 2012.
2. Mabel Leyshon
A look at the murder of 90-year-old Mabel Leyshon, who was stabbed to death at her home in Anglesey in 2001.
3. Rachel O’Reilly
In October 2004, devoted mother of two Rachel O'Reilly failed to pick up her young children from school in Naul, North County Dublin. Minutes later, Rachel's mother Rose found her daughter lying dead in the bedroom of her home.
4. Derek and Eileen Severs
Explores the tragic murders of Derek and Eileen Severs, who were found dead after disappearing from their home in Rutland in 1993.
5. Helen McCourt
A look at the murder of Helen McCourt in Merseyside in 1988. Local pub landlord Ian Simms was convicted of her murder, yet has never revealed the whereabouts of her body.
6. Ella Douglas
The murder of 57-year-old Ella Douglas whose body was found 10 months after she disappeared from her hometown of Dumfries in 2000.
7. Alan Greaves
Explores the tragic death of church organist Alan Greaves who was attacked as he walked to Midnight Mass in High Green, Sheffield in 2012.
8. Alethea Taylor
Documentary exploring the murder of much-loved 63- year-old Alethea Taylor who mysteriously vanished from her village of Orleton in Herefordshire in 2012.
