1. Episode 1

January 7th, 2019

Barrister Robert Rinder return to examine more real-life cases, looking at the events leading up to crimes, going through the police investigations and summing up the trials. The first edition features two off-duty police men who showed extreme bravery after interrupting an armed robbery at a jewellers in Newark, Nottinghamshire, as well as a look at the the apparent suicide of a mother-of-three.

January 8th, 2019

In Prestatyn, Melanie Smith's anger over a neighbourhood dispute leads her to wreak revenge on a family with tragic consequences. And the disappearance of a woman in her mid-fifties leads to a revelation beyond her family's worst nightmares.

3. Episode 3

January 9th, 2019

The barrister examines the cases of Arash Ghorbani-Zarin, who was stabbed to death by his girlfriend's brothers. Thames Valley Police led the investigation into Arash's murder and soon uncovered that his death was the result of a shocking `honour killing'. There is also a look at the case of Violet-Grace Youens, who died after being hit by a car driven at 80mph in a 30mph area, by a driver who had no licence or insurance and who ran from the scene.

January 10th, 2019

Barrister Robert Rinder examines the case of Anthony Richardson, who was attacked in broad daylight outside a shopping centre in Grimsby. CCTV footage helped Humberside Police piece together footage leading up to the incident to discover who was behind the fatal attack. Plus, how teenager Carly Fairhurst's decision to become a prison pen pal to convicted killer Darren Pilkington would change her own life and end in tragedy.

5. Episode 5

January 11th, 2019

Barrister Robert Rinder examines the case of Simon Mellors, who murdered his partner Pearl Black in 1999, brutally beating and strangling her. Pearl's family warned that he would strike again if he was ever released by the authorities from prison. Mellors was released - and with tragic consequences in January 2018.

When 22-year-old Helen McCourt went missing on a stormy night in February 1988, her mother Marie feared the weather was to blame, little did she know, the real cause of her daughter's disappearance was a lot more sinister, and would be the start of a lifelong campaign to find her. Barrister Robert Rinder examines the case.

The National Crime Agency and Border Force's work to track the movements of a suspicious light aircraft, and an innocent teenager, Conner Marshall who was the victim of an unprovoked assault.

Robert Rinder examines the case of 51-year-old solicitor David Edwards, who was subjected to abusive and controlling behaviour by his wife Sharon, before she murdered him. He also looks into the case of Jodie Nicholson, whose boyfriend Sam Poplar conned her family out of thousands of pounds.

Barrister Robert Rinder tells the story of 24-year-old Alice Ruggles, who had everything to live for - until a short-lived romance with Lance Corporal Harry Dhillon. When Alice ended the relationship in the summer of 2016, Dhillon commenced a reign of stalking and threats, culminating in one final act of terror on the evening of the October 12.

10. Episode 10

January 18th, 2019

Barrister Robert Rinder examines real-life cases, recounting the crimes of Dominic McKilligan and Lee Nolan. McKilligan was a teenage paedophile who missed being put on the sex offenders register by just one day, while known fantasist Nolan boasted to friends that he had the body of a woman in his boot. After a police tip-off, his car was searched and its shocking cargo uncovered.
