Season 1 Episodes
1. Biological Predisposition
Episode 1 saw Safran travelling to Israel where his Palestinian boom mic operator made a donation to a sperm bank, then to the West Bank where a donation to a clinic was made by John, in an attempt to make half Jewish half Palestinian children. Noting that he has dated three Eurasian women, Safran conducts an experiment by stealing and smelling the underwear of five Jewish and five Eurasian women (including Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls and actress Dichen Lachman) to see which he "prefers".
2. A Mile in their Shoes
People always mocked sallow Jewish John for trying to act black when growing up. But cross-cultural relationship experts say that you should walk in the shoes of other people to understand different cultures.
3. Shiksa
John's family want him to get together with a Jewess, saying that if he marries out, anti-Semitism will inevitably creep into his cross-cultural union. It's true - some people are racist, but does that really mean John has to stop hitting on Eurasians?
4. Cougars
Through his reading, John comes across Henry Makow, a fat, old white guy who went to the Philippines to find a bride. Makow claims that Asian women stay attractive for longer than Western women. Fascinated by this premise, John figures out a way to test the claim. It involves exceedingly awkward confrontations with his ex-girlfriends and excruciatingly tender moments with their mothers.
5. Elephant Man
John goes to Thailand to test Henry Makow's claim that Asian women judge a man by his heart and not by his looks, returns to Australia and puts his own father through a lie detector test, and flies to London to interview Holocaust denier David Irving.
6. John's Mum
John has forever wanted to go out with non-Jewish girls, but he always suspected that his mother wasn't into it. As John's mum, Gitla, died unexpectedly several years ago, it's impossible to know what she truly thought. Or is it? John does some digging around and discovers that the answer lies in Kabbalah – the mystical branch of Judaism. He calls upon his Jewish friends George and Jeremy and presses them to partake in a ritual that involves communing with the dead. Armed with shovels
7. Christian Domestic Discipline and Star Trek
John goes to the United States to explore Christian Domestic Discipline and Star Trek philosophy, and then goes to Thailand to step into the shoes of an Asian woman.
8. Devotional Crucifixion
Peeved by his unsuccessful attempts to solve the cross cultural love riddle, John decides to expose ethnic identity as a ridiculous social construct and marries a non-Jew. Afterwards, in order to render himself a clean slate, ready for cross-cultural love, John decides to take part in the ultimate obliteration: a de-Jewing so severe, no modern Jew has thought to do it.
