Maigret Season 3

Based on his 1960 Novel Maigret et les Vieillards. Maigret is thrown into a world where he must tread delicately when investigating the violent death of Count St Hilaire.

Based on his 1932 novel Le Fou de Bergerac. Maigret must fall on unconventional methods to catch a madman after being wounded and confined to a hotel bed.

Based on his 1932 novel L'Affaire Saint-Fiacre. Maigret returns to the village where he was born and becomes convinced he witnessed the Countess of Fiacre's murder.

While visiting a condemned man in prison, he comments to Maigret that he knows someone at a "guinguette a deux sous" (a "tuppenny bar") who is equally deserving of the death penalty.
