Two workmen are helicoptered in after their van is crushed by a tree; Dr Jon Aron treats a cyclist hit by a car; and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Kim Higgins struggles to remove a woman's wedding ring which is cutting off the blood supply to her finger.
2. Episode 2
A dockworker is flown in from Kent after being crushed by a tonne of potatoes, surgeon Mr Shetty replaces an ice skater's knee using pioneering computer navigation, and Dr Matt Milner treats a schoolboy with a severe case of asthma.
3. Episode 3
A teenager needs surgery after being shot in the chin, a young couple are rushed in by ambulance after a hit and run accident, and Dr Sharleet Mahal needs to urgently treat a woman having difficulty breathing due to a swelling tongue.
4. Episode 4
A father risks his life to save his baby daughter when leading surgeon Professor Nigel Heaton transplants part of his liver into her, a 22 year old man is helicoptered in after a scooter accident, and Dr Jude Dockray treats a diver with the Bends.

Surgeon Chris Chandler operates on a father of three to remove a brain tumour, Dr Matt Milner treats a 4 year old who has cut the top of her finger off, and Trauma Nurse Carole Olding treats a young woman hit by a motorbike at 40 miles per hour.
6. Episode 6
An unconscious 23 year old is flown to the emergency department after a horrific scooter accident, Surgeon Phil MacCarthy tries to repair a hole in the heart of a mother of three, and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Kim Higgins treats a woman whose horse crushed her toe whilst she was wearing flip flops.

Brain surgeon Mr Ashkan operates on a Parkinson's sufferer while she is awake to try and stop her shakes, Dr Liz Hobbs treats a toddler with a high temperature who is fitting, and a golf teacher is rushed in after collapsing at work.
8. Episode 8
A man is rushed in after he crashed a BMX bike under the influence of alcohol, surgeon Gordon Muir uses cutting edge laser surgery to operate on a man's dangerously enlarged prostate, and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Tim Yorston treats a patient who has badly broken his ankle after tripping over his beloved dog.

Dr Jamie Moran treats a marathon runner helicoptered in having injured his spine by falling off a ladder onto concrete, trauma nurse Carole Olding delivers a baby in the back of an ambulance, and emergency nurse practitioner Nancy Dixon Fisher treats an epileptic who broke his arm while fitting.
10. Episode 10
Surgeon Jonathan Hill operates on a man rushed in from another hospital who is having a heart attack, Dr Matt Milner treats a man who was hit by a car while running for the bus, and Dr Jon Aron diagnoses a man with chest pains.
11. Episode 11
A young man is helicoptered in after he was stabbed outside his own house, Dr Jon Byrne performs emergency cardiac surgery on a man having a heart attack, and Dr Matt Milner treats a woman who keeps dislocating her shoulder.
12. Episode 12
The trauma team have only hours to save a man from paralysis when he is rushed in by ambulance suffering from a stroke, Dr Jon Aron treats a man with a suspected heart attack who does not want to worry his wife, who is holidaying overseas, and the Emergency department team are on standby as a woman gives birth in the hospital car park.
13. Episode 13
Leading surgeon Mr Ashkan performs brain surgery on an MS sufferer to reduce her tremors, an elderly lady is rushed into the emergency department after collapsing in a bus station, and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Tim Yorston treats a 18 month-old girl who trapped her finger in a door.
14. Episode 14
A teenager is rushed into the emergency department having been badly stabbed in the neck with a car key, a father risks his life to save his baby when Professor Nigel Heaton performs a living relative liver transplant, and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Tim Yorston treats a young boy accidentally hit in the face with a cricket bat.

Surgeon Mr El Gamel performs a triple heart bypass on a 71-year-old while his heart keeps beating, a mother is rushed into the trauma bay having been hit by a car, and Dr Sharleet Mahal treats a man with deep vein thrombosis after a long haul flight.

A carpenter is helicoptered into the emergency department after falling off a roof, surgeon Mr El-Gamel performs open heart surgery on a young teacher with several holes in his heart, and emergency nurse practitioner Tim Yorston treats a lady who has cut her hand whilst preparing her daughter's birthday party.

A man is rushed in with a racing pulse and a faulty pacemaker that is repeatedly shocking his heart with 1000 volts, Dr Matt Milner treats a lady in agony with Crohn's disease, and a woman ends up in the emergency department after a DIY disaster.
18. Episode 18
An elderly woman is rushed in to resus with heart problems the day before her 92nd birthday, cardiologist Phil McCarthy operates on an air stewardess with two holes in her heart and a man is helicoptered in to King's, having been hit by a van.
19. Episode 19
A mature student is rushed into the emergency department with worrying chest pains, emergency nurse practitioner Kim Higgins treats a man with severe bruising and an abnormal kneecap, and Dr Matt Milner treats a woman with a suspected DVT.
20. Episode 20
A man is rushed in with a broken leg after being hit with a cricket bat, Dr Jon Aron treats a patient with suspected Hepatitis A, and Dr Matt Milner treats a woman who was bitten by a dog.
