Series 2 Plot
Older, wiser, happier? At the end of the first series, all was not well amongst the circle of friends from Hearts And Bones. They were left reeling in the aftermath of the near affair between Emma and her brother-in-law, Rich, and shocked by the tragic death of Louise's mother. This time round, we find Emma separated from her husband, Mark. But no sooner has Mark walked out the door than Emma meets James, a dishy politician.

With fractious relationships all around, Louise organises a 32nd birthday party for Rich. Amanda finds a new man.
2. 2.2
Romance is in the air for both Emma and Sinead. Louise has second thoughts about her police training.
3. 2.3
A tarot reading sends Rich spinning towards an early midlife crisis while Michael decides he must become a real man.
4. 2.4
Amanda's pregnancy brings out the nesting instinct in her. Emma gets the wedding bug from Louise, but James brings his lover down to earth with a bane.
5. 2.5
James moves in on Louise, using his guile to prevent her from marrying Rich. Meanwhile, Michael receives an unwelcome guest who bears life-shattering news.
6. 2.6
Emma faces up to life without James, while Sinead and Hermann discover that fairy tale endings are difficult to sustain.
