Matchmaker Abbey invites her heartbroken best friend to a speed-dating evening at a fancy restaurant. As the quirky participants arrive, Abbey is shocked by one particularly familiar face.

As the speed dating begins, tension soon builds among the mismatched ensemble. Meanwhile, Abbey watches helplessly as best-friend Chloe starts to fall for the 'wrong guy'.

After an insensitive comment earns participant Steve several punches to the face, he takes refuge in the men's bathroom; 'mystery man' Jason leads the recovery effort.

Rumours about Jason's 'love life' spiral out of control, and Abbey senses that this night will soon come crashing down.

As the 'less than romantic' night draws to an abrupt end, Abbey is confronted with a truth she has tried so hard to hide.

In a final attempt to maintain some control, Abbey decides to leave the country. In this heated finale, Chloe tries to convince the 'heartless' Abbey to stop running from her problems.
