Sophie's husband dies leaving her a single mother of 2 teens who has never worked outside of the home. Her mother-in-law tells her Alexandre had secretly been a porn producer and has left her the penniless heir to an X-rated film studio.

Fearing she won't be able to find work after many years as a stay-at-home mom, and wishing to maintain the lifestyle she and her kids are accustomed to, Sophie decides not to sell the porn business, but rather to take over her late husband's position there.

Louise teaches Sophie the terms and tools of the trade. Sophie wants to make films with quality plots that will appeal to ladies. The producer is skeptical, but Sophie green-lights production on a sex-monster film pitched by Roy

As Sophie and her leading man grow closer, Roy the Rod finally asks her on a date. Although she has strong feelings for the charismatic Lothario, she grows increasingly concerned about the social stigma of dating a porn star.

Sophie starts dating.

Sophie's daughter finds out about the family business. Sophie begins pimping the actors out to lonely women with fantasies. She continues to try Internet dating in an attempt to deny her true feelings.
