The TV drama series Hakusen Nagashi, which started appearing in January 1996, had Matsumoto and environs, with its abundant natural beauties, as its setting in depicting the lives of young people, their dreams, their love affairs in a drama that appealed to all ages in showing the pains, pathos and beauties of youth. Now Sonoko and Wataru meet again and have to cope with their respective tests and tribulations. Their story focuses on five friends decide which way they will go on life's crossroads with the natural beauties of Hida-Takayama and Matsumoto to the background. This is the concluding story of Hakusen Nagashi.
