Season 3 Episodes
1. What is the Moral Life?
Fr. Charles looks at the nature of the moral life in Christ and the call to develop virtue through grace so as to attain eternal beatitude.
2. What are the sources of morality?
Fr. Charles explains the moral goodness or evil of human acts depends on the object, circumstances and the end (goal or intention) of each act, as well as the role the passions play in our decisions.
3. The nature of moral conscience
Conscience may be formed in accordance with moral principles imposed by God as a voice, calling man to do what is good and avoid what is evil.
4. The nature of virtue
Fr. Charles talks about moral and theological virtues. He explains that the Holy Spirit is actively at work in human beings, causing gifts to be formed as permanent dispositions, and to love one another so as to abide in God forever.
