Season 1 Plot
Kim Shin was once an unbeatable general in Goryeo's military who died a tragic death. He now possesses immortality but is tired of living while everyone else around him dies. For 900 years, Shin has searched for his bride, a mortal who can pull out the sword and end his life. One day, he encounters Ji Euntak, a positive, upbeat high school student who can see the dead and has gone through tragic events, yet still stays strong. She claims to be the Goblin's bride who can end his immortal life, but what appears to be an easy task, only gets complicated, as the two fall in love.

1. What Kind Of A Guardian Are You?
A former human turned goblin is cursed to remain immortal and alone for hundreds of years. Ji Euntak, a girl who can see spirits, accidentally summons him, but she’s not what he expected.
2. I'll Become Your Bride In 200 Years
Euntak is happy when her life begins to change for the better, but then finds out Kim Shin has been lying to her.
3. I See The Sword
Shin pushes Euntak on whether she can see something about him nobody else can, but Euntak has other things on her mind.
4. I Won't Leave You
Shin meets with an old friend, and Euntak considers what her newfound responsibilities will mean for her future.
5. I Have To End My Life
Euntak helps one of her visitors pass on to the other side, and Shin makes new sleeping arrangements.
6. Tomorrow
Shin is still struggling to get Euntak to do what he needs her to do, while the Grim Reaper tries to act like a human.
7. I Think It's Your Face
Euntak attempts to pull the sword out of Shin's chest, but something holds her back. The Grim Reaper is thrown in jail.
8. You Gave Her That Fate
The Grim Reaper and Yoo Deokhwa must clean up after Shin's reaction. Euntak takes her exams.
9. He'll Vanish Forever From This World To Another
When Euntak learns of Shin's fate, she tries to run away and avoid her own destiny. The Grim Reaper is at a loss with how to date.
10. Is She Really Your Sister?
It's almost the new year, so Euntak asks Shin to spend her first day as a 20-year-old adult with her. The Grim Reaper struggles with the knowledge about Sunny's past.
11. The Deity Is So Cruel To You And Me
The Grim Reaper confronts Sunny, as does Shin. An old "friend" introduces himself to Euntak.
12. Forget About Me
Sunny holds the key for the Grim Reaper to discover his past. Euntak begins college despite the threat on her life.
13. Protect Her
Sunny, Shin, and the Grim Reaper come to terms with their pasts.
14. Whom Have I Forgotten?
The sword is out, and everything changes. Nine years pass, and we find out what has happened to everyone.
15. Will You Be My Bride?
Euntak travels to Quebec to try and figure out why she can't remember a section of her past.
16. Goodbye and See You Again
Both Sunny and Euntak inadvertently hurt their partners, who must come to terms with their decisions.
