Li Haichao runs a restaurant while raising his daughter, Ling Heping's family move upstairs. Haichao's date brought along her son.

Ling Xiao's mom Chen Ting leaves after divorce. Mei tends her seriously-ill mother and leaves her son with Haichao. The three kids grow up together.

The three kids bravely save the class president Qi Mingyue. Top student Ling Xiao keeps cleaning up the mess for the other two.

10 years later, Ting returns from Singapore with her eight-year-old daughter due to her husband's job relocation, and she plans to win her son back.

The relationship between Ting and Xiao improves. He Ziqiu's aunt celebrates his birthday. Qin Meiyang accidentally falls down the stairs.

Ting and Meiyang return to Singapore while Xiao and Ziqiu prepare for their college entrance exams. Zhao Huaguang wants to reconnect with his son.

Ting has a serious car accident while Haichao and Li Jianjian fall sick. Mei pays back money. Ting's family ask Xiao to go to school in Singapore.

Facing unbearable consequences, Xiao and Ziqiu have a big fight. Feeling disappointed, Jianjian runs away to her grandma’s.

As Jianjian and Mingyue go to college, Tang Can experiences a setback. After graduation, Ziqiu and Xiao remain in Singapore. Jianjian opens a studio.

Mingyue becomes a journalist while Tang Can runs an online store. Jianjian is harassed by a pervert. Later, she learns that Xiao and Ziqiu are back.

As a dentist, Xiao checks Jianjian's teeth, and Ziqiu bakes a cake for her. They try to reconnect with Jianjian, only to make her feel very awkward.

Xiao's colleague has a crush on him and Jianjian has an admirer. The three celebrate Haichao's birthday. Ting asks Xiao to return to Singapore.

Mingyue has a secret crush on Xiao. The brothers are suspicious of Jianjian's boyfriend. Tang Can runs into Ziqiu's friend Zhuang Bei at work.

Jianjian confronts Xiao about her boyfriend. A phone call from Ting makes Heping feel very guilty about Xiao’s pain and pressure.

After Ziqiu has a car accident, Jianjian rushes to the hospital. Ziqiu learns that Xiao has a serious anxiety disorder. Zheng Shuran pays a visit.

Bei visits his mother with a fake girlfriend. Xiao prepares to return to Singapore. Mingyue is upset about a blind date arranged by her mother.

As Shuran goes on a date with Jianjian, Mingyue confesses her feelings to Xiao. Ziqiu's uncle has a cancer. Jianjian loses contact with Xiao.

Bei suspects that Ziqiu loves Jianjian. Xiao doesn't return on time, but a half-awake Jianjian believes he is still with her.

Xiao confesses to Jianjian while Ziqiu also prepares to pursue her. A cold-hearted Mei rejects Haichao’s proposal.

Jianjian avoids Xiao after she learns that he loves her. Ziqiu confesses his feelings and learns about Mei's repayment. Mingyue moves back home.

Tang Can bonds with Bei's mother. After Ziqiu meets Mei in a cafe, he spends a sleepless night. Jianjian's assistant makes a campaign proposal.

Haichao meets Zhang Hongying while Mei gets help for Ziqiu's cafe. The birthday party for Tang Can's mother goes awry. Xiao and Jian's love grows.

Mingyue and Jianjian reconcile with each other. Jianjian struggles with the relationship with her brothers. Tang Can recalls her failure.

Tang Can opens up to Jianjian and Mingyue. Jianjian worries about Ting and Meiyang's attitude toward her, and learns more about Ziqiu’s cafe.

Jianjian is questioned by her brothers about her blog. Bei bonds with Mingyue. Xiao’s low self-esteem concerns Jianjian.

Heping takes Xiao to see a doctor without telling him. Xiao tells Jianjian about his experience in Singapore. Mei comes across Ziqiu in a restaurant.

Tang Can overhears who is Bei's crush. Mei threatens Huaguang while Ziqiu falls out with his father and his suffering in the UK is revealed.

Jianjian finally understands that both brothers are seeking redemption at home. Haichao decides to reveal Mei’s difficulty. Bei confesses to Mingyue.

Mingyue tells her friends about Bei’s confession. Jin Yuxiang's property purchase plan causes a family drama. Tang Can decides to give up her dream.

Ting and Meiyang suddenly returns. Haichao comes to understand Mei’s dilemma about Dongdong. Jianjian prepares a birthday gift for Xiao.

Mingyue’s parents have a big fight. The birthday party for Xiao ends in awkwardness. Haichao confronts Mei, revealing a past secret.

Ziqiu has mixed feelings for his mother. Mingyue argues with Yuxiang and makes a shocking announcement. Bei tries to cheer up Tang Can.

Xiao and Ting have a fight. Unable to face her mother, Meiyang asks Jianjian for help and works at Ziqiu's cafe. Mei and Ziqiu mend fences.

As Ting learns about Xiao’s mental disorder, she keeps falling out with Jianjian. Mingyue’s parents want a divorce. Jianjian is involved in a scandal.

Mingyue apologizes to Yuxiang. Everyone tries to find evidence to prove Jianjian’s innocence. Bei introduces Tang Can to a play director.

Zhou Miao persuades Du Juan to leave Jianjian. Ziqiu tries to ask Huaguang for the photo. The Qi family's misfortune bonds the mother and daughter.

Mei and Haichao get back together. Jianjian’s innocence is proven. Tang Can seeks parents’ support and Ting wants to set Xiao up with his colleague.

Ting feels guilty after reading the blog. The Li family celebrates the big day and they take a photo together as a loving family.
