Season 2 Plot
This season explores Jason’s journey facing the obstacles of becoming an entrepreneur, building a co-parenting relationship with Carmen, and navigating his already complicated dating situation… all with a child on the way. Lacy, still at odds with Bryan after their brief entanglement, jumps back into the dating game and starts a new relationship with a professional basketball player. As Jason and Bella’s relationship flourishes, his friend circle begins to fall apart — tensions grow between him and Erick after a heated argument and Lacy and Bryan remain at odds after Alicia’s ultimatum. Things get worse when the whole squad links up for Erick and Lisa’s housewarming party, that turns into the dinner party from hell.

1. This is About to Be a Mess
Jason explores the dating scene while expecting a baby with Carmen. Alicia gives Bryan an ultimatum. Erick struggles to find common ground with Lisa’s father. Alexandria stumbles across her mother’s secret and reveals one of her own. Jason and the crew’s reunion doesn’t go as smoothly as planned.
2. The Shit Hits the Fan
Jason and Carmen go all in with co-parenting. Bryan and Alicia start couples therapy. Erick connects with a new teacher, Shontel. Jason explores a new love interest. Lacy tries her hand in the dating game but can’t catch a break.
3. The Other F Word
Jason’s relationship with new love interest Bella grows. Bryan and Alicia take a risky step in the right direction. Lacy has an unorthodox date with a professional basketball star. Erick spends time with Shontel outside of work.
4. This Ni**a Chose Violence
Erick’s marriage is tested when Lisa learns about Shontel. Bryan and Alicia reach a critical point in their relationship. Erick and Jason have a blowup that threatens their friendship. Jason and Carmen receive colossal news that shakes them to their core.
5. Sometimes It’s Just Bad Timing
Jason struggles to deal with his grief and shuts himself off from everyone. Bryan and Lacy have another secret rendezvous that doesn’t go as he expected. Bryan attempts to bring a regretful Erick and Jason back together.
6. I Should’ve Stayed My Ass at Home
As the whole squad gathers for Erick and Lisa’s housewarming, their relationships are put through the ringer and the evening quickly turns into the dinner party from hell.
