Season 1 Plot
Can you still go after your dreams without the right background? Go Dongman has always dreamed of becoming famous as a taekwondo athlete but now works as a contract employee in a mundane job. His bickering longtime friend, Choi Aera, aspires to become a television anchor but works instead at the information desk of a department store. Their friends, Kim Jooman and Baek Seolhee have been dating for six years but face a new threat to their relationship. Can the four friends achieve their individual dreams despite having “third-rate” qualifications?

1. I Trusted You
Eleven years after high school, four friends' lives haven't turned out the way they wanted them to.
2. Whatever they say, we’ll go our way
Choi Aera does a favor for an old classmate. Despite himself, Go Dongman ends up fighting again.
3. Don’t touch
Aera is excited when an announcer position opens at her company. Baek Seolhee worries about her coworker liking Kim Jooman.
4. Just Go For It!
Dongman commits to returning to martial arts. Jooman and Seolhee fight over her treatment at work.
5. It’s okay, even if you’re jobless
Aera begins to date Park Moobin despite misgivings. Coach Hwang Jangho advises Dongman against competing so early.
6. Dear, don’t give me that kiss
Aera gets closer to landing the announcer job. A party with Jooman’s family isn't fun for Seolhee.
7. The Unexpected
Dongman feels guilty when he finds out what Coach Hwang is sacrificing for him. Aera discovers something shocking about Moobin.
8. Helpless Concerns
Seolhee decides to handle Jang Yejin’s crush on Jooman herself. Aera and Dongman both progress toward their dreams.
9. I'll Make Sure You Never Smirk Again
After his first success, Dongman buys presents for his family and friends. Seolhee and Jooman’s relationship is revealed at work.
10. I Want to Go with You
Jooman and Seolhee's relationship begins to crumble. Park Hyeran goes out of her way to one-up Aera again.
11. Girly Girl
Namil Villa gains a new tenant. Aera and Dongman go on their first date.
12. What Was Your Dream?
Seolhee reaches her breaking point with Jooman. Dongman attempts to connect with his father.
13. It Was My Mistake
Jooman has a hard time adjusting to life without Seolhee. Dongman prepares for his match with Kim Taksoo despite Aera’s worries.
14. Calm Before the Storm
Aera chooses between two career paths. The day of Dongman and Taksoo’s fight arrives.
15. The Clown Always Smiles at Us
Dongman is torn between his dream and his relationship once again and faces a difficult decision.
16. This is My Way
All four friends deal with their separate situations and figure out what their futures will be.
