A film producer (Guy Doleman) devises a deadly plan to finance a project.

Rex Lander (Paul Daneman) is prime suspect in his rich uncle's murder, but there's no evidence to pin it on him.
3. Man in the Back Seat
Two young thugs rob a bookie leaving a dog-racing track with his winnings, but when they grab his case full of money they discover that he has chained it to his wrist. They dash around town trying to find a way to separate the case from the wrist of the bookie, who the pair has by now beaten so badly he appears to be dead. They finally come up with what they think is a foolproof plan, but soon something happens that they weren't quite expecting.

The chief suspect in a series of jewel robberies is found dead.

A rich man's secretary/fiancée is harassed by an assistant, who's sacked. Dangerous accidents start occurring and the assistant is suspected, but he's suddenly murdered just as he plans to meet with a Scotland Yard inspector.

A young couple go to check out a house they're thinking of buying. A somewhat mysterious woman tells the couple several stories of the fates that befell the house's previous owners.

A cracked safe seems like routine to the police, until the owner of the business is found dead the next morning and they find that a lot more money was in the safe than he had said. Where did he get it and why was it there?

Wally Sanders, a horseracing jockey, loses a race and crashes his car to claim an insurance. Jim Matthews, a shrewd and energetic insurance investgator, follows up the company's suspicion of foul play and stumbles deep into a web of corruption concering fixed horse races.

A body found in the River Thames is of an archaeology professor, murdered over three small fragments of an ancient text that could serve as a pretext for a red China-like country to invade a Nepal-like country.
